We've got a new challenge today on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog and this time we're asking you to use 'your favourite colour'. You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.
When I started stamping and before Promarkers were available, it was a standing joke that my favourite colour for card making was brown! My Distress Inks are mostly varying shades of brown so when I recently discovered reverse masking that's what I used.
For this card I used a circle aperture as my mask and then applied Distress Inks before stamping with the Little Claire 'Silhouette Boat Stamp'.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge Blog - 'use a stamp'
Addicted to Clean and Simple - 'splash'
Simply Papercraft Challenges - 'anything goes'
Addicted to Stamps Challenge - 'clean and simple'
Creative Inspirations - 'male creations'
Simon Wednesday Challenge - 'favourite technique/product' (reverse masking)
Loves Rubberstamps - 'masculine'
A very clever way to use your distress inks, Helen - what a great result.

ReplyDeleteA really lovely, clean and simple design, Helen. I saw a card earlier today using these browns and she termed them "sepia" colors - that does sound a bit more romantic! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
