New Alphabet Challenge - X is for Xtra Embellishments


We've got a new challenge today on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and this time we've reached the letter X so we'd like to see Xtra embellishments on your creations.

Anyone who knows my card making style knows that I use very few embellishments!  So for this card I added some extra gems and also some little punched hearts.

I've used one of this month's new release images from KLM Digital Designs - this is Love Bug and you can find it here in the Etsy shop.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used paper and card from Craft Creations.

Bugaboo Stamps Oldie But Goodie Thursday - Puppy Blocks


It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday on the Bugaboo Stamps Catch the Bug Blog - a chance for the Design Team to share cards made with some of our favourite Bugaboo Stamps images.

I've made a card using the reverse masking technique.  I used Distress Inks applied through a circular aperture and then stamped the main image from the Stampin' Up stamp set called 'The Gang's All Meer'.  The sentiment I've used is from the 'Peaceful Moments' stamp set also from Stampin' Up.

I then coloured the stamped image completely with a black Promarker - my inspiration this came from Frenchie Stamps here.

DT Card for the Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth - Cute Cats


Today I'm sharing a card I've made using one of the new digi stamps designed by Lauren C Waterworth.

This one is called 'Cute Cats' and you can find it here in her Etsy shop.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and added a sentiment from Stampin' Up.  

The patterned paper I've used is one of the digi papers from Lauren's Steampunk Digital Scrapbook Kit which is available here.

SheepSki Designs Freebie from Kit & Clowder - Jo's Daffodils

DT Card for KLM Digital Designs - Cupid


Today I'm sharing a DT card for KLM Digital Designs using the beautiful 'Cupid' digi stamp set.

I've combined the main image with one of the sentiments and coloured it with Promarkers.

The paper I've used is from Stampin' Up and I added some pink gems and two tiny hearts cut with a Martha Stewart punch.  The rest of the card and paper is from Craft Creations.

New My Time to Craft Challenge - Rubber Stamps, No Digis


We're back today with a new challenge on the My Time to Craft Challenge Blog and this time we want to see you using rubber stamps on your creations - no digi stamps allowed.

I'm sharing a card I made for The Card Hut's shows last weekend on Create and Craft - the set is part of the Garden Sheds stamp collection designed by the very talented Mark Bardsley.


This set is called 'Keeping Fit' and is available on its own or as part of a bundle here on The Card Hut website.

As well as two main images in the set and two sentiments, you also get separate dumbell stamps so I repeat stamped them to create a border down the side of the card.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and used paper from my stash plus some black paper to layer the design.

Ike's World Challenge Reminder - N is for Naughty or Nice

Winged Unicorn from Lauren C Waterworth


Today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful 'Winged Unicorn' digi stamp from Lauren C Waterworth.

New Perfectly Clean and Simple Challenge - Shapes


We've got a new challenge for you today on the Perfectly Clean and Simple Challenge Blog and this time our theme is:


I have to admit this one had me a bit challenged to start with!  Then I remembered the Mid Century Modern stamp from Uniko here and thought it would be perfect for my card.

I stamped it in black Versafine and then trimmed it to fit one third of the card with the black layer round it.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
