New Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes/Use Some Silver

 


It's Saturday so that means a new challenge on Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Blog and this week it's anything Christmas goes with the option to use some silver on your card.

To make my card I used some silver and white patterned paper from Stampin' Up which I split into three panels on a piece of white card.

The sentiment I used is from the Stampin' Up Wrapped in Christmas stamp set and I die cut it with one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Finally I used a mat of black paper to help the silver pop off the card.

To make my card I attached a narrow strip of striped patterned paper from Stampin' Up to the left hand edge of a card blank.  Then I stamped one of the sentiments from the Happiest of Birthday Stampin' Up stamp set in black Versafine ink along the bottom edge of the card blank.

I finished the card with three black gems.

New My Time to Craft Christmas Challenge - Wreaths

 


We're back today on the My Time to Craft Christmas Challenge with a new challenge and this time we want to see a wreath or wreaths on your cards.

To make my card I used the stamp set from the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up - the wreath, holly berries and sentiment are all part of the set.  I stamped in Mossy Meadow and Real Red inks.

The word backing paper I've used is actually the inside of one of the envelopes from the kit!

I finished the card with some Stampin' Up Mossy Meadow card and some red gems.

Make a Splash - Inspiration Post for Stampers Delights

 


Today it's my turn to share another inspiration card for Stampers Delights.

To make today's card I've used the very cute Kawaii 'Make a Splash' digi stamp set.  As well as the images on my card, there are two more cute little characters in the set plus another sentiment 'Seas the Day'.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then die cut it.  The cute images don't need much to make a card so I just added some patterned paper and some clear gems - a bit of bling is always essential!

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge on Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Blog - it's anything Christmas goes with the option to include a tree or two or more.

I used the reverse masking technique to make my card.  First I die cut a circle from a piece of card and then taped the template over another piece of card of the same size.

Using a blending brush I applied Salty Ocean Distress Ink through the template to create the circle.  Then I kept the template in place and stamped various stamps from the Snow Front stamp set from Stampin' Up.

After I removed the template, I stamped a sentiment from Little Claire Designs and then matted the stamped panel on to black paper.

GDT Card for Make the Cards Challenge - Use Two Patterned Papers


I'm back again as a Guest Designer for the Make the Cards Challenge and today's new challenge is:

I always end up with lots of small pieces of patterned paper after cutting 6 by 6 pieces for card fronts so I decided to use two of the left over strips to make my card. I cut the paper into one inch squares and glued them on to a piece of white card.

The papers are from Stampin' Up and I used Mossy Meadow card stock as my layer together with a die and stamped sentiment all from Stampin' Up.

New Inspiration Station Challenge - Botanical Beauties

 


We're back today with a new challenge on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog and here is this month's picture to inspire you:

I looked at all the different colours of flowers and decided to use one of my Stampin' Up stamp sets called 'Pretty Perennials' to make my card.

I used various Stampin' Up ink pads and then matted the stamped panel on to Mossy Meadow card stock which is also from Stampin' Up.

New Perfectly CAS Challenge - Distress

To make my card I used the 'Snowfront' stamp set from Stampin' Up for the deer and the trees.  The sentiment is also from Stampin' Up.

The background was created with Salty Ocean Distress Ink and Mossy Meadow ink from Stampin' Up applied with a blending brush.

Finally I tore the edge of my stamped panel to try and give a distressed look!

May Inspiration Card for the Clever Dexter Challenge

 


Today it's my turn to to share a little bit of extra inspiration for this month's Clever Dexter Challenge.

For today's card I decided to use my alcohol ink markers to do some blending.  I use Promarkers and to colour my image I used three shades of pink and two shades of green.

The beautiful image I've used is called 'Just Wonderful Floral Slimline Card Panel' and can be found here.

I also used an embossing folder, stamped sentiment and Mossy Meadow card stock from Stampin' Up and a sentiment die from X-Cut.
