New from The Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth - Under the Sea Digi Crafting Kit

Today I'm sharing my second DT project from the new fabulous Digi Crafting Kit available from The Art and Creations of Lauren C Waterworth:

The kit includes embellishments, backgrounds, frames and alphabet letter amongst other items and there are lots and lots of beautiful elements in there!

For this project I die cut a tag from kraft card using a Tim Holtz die.  I distressed a piece of backing paper and then combined different elements on to the map before fussy cutting it and adding it to the tag.

I have a series of cards to share using this new kit.  For this first one I put one of the beautiful mermaid pictures into a circular frame and added a sentiment.  On the inside back of the card and the front two panels I've used one of backgrounds, splitting the front of the card with acetate.  The topper was then put on the acetate panel so it 'floats' against the background.

I used a combination of washi tape and vellum die cut into a circle as the focal point of my card - the sentiment is a Crafter's Companion die.

I layered this onto a gold circle and then added some more washi tape and some gold gems to finish the card.

New from Createful Heart Design - Tintype Garden Digital Paper

Mary from Createful Heart Design has started selling digital papers in her store and this is one of the first of her designs - Tintype Garden Digital Paper.

You can find it here in her online store.

I kept my design very simple to showcase the paper.  I layered it on to white and silver paper and added some gems to the flowers.

I then stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up in Versamark Ink on vellum and embossed it with silver powder.   I attached the strip with two brads.

There's a new challenge today on the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge Blog and this time we want you to use washi tape.

For the 'happy' die cut on my card I put strips of washi tape on to white card leaving small gaps between the strips. I then die cut the word from this using 'Big & Bold Happy' die collection from Uniko Designs here and the outline word die using black paper.

I stamped the word 'birthday' using the 'Big and Bold Happy' clear stamp set and added the die cut and outline.  I finished the card with a strip of the washi tape and some black peel off lines.
