Digi Doodle Studios November GDT Card - Auggie Corgi

 

Today I'm sharing my November GDT card for Digi Doodle Studios.

I couldn't resist this cute image for this month's card - isn't he just adorable?!

The digi stamp is called Auggie Corgi Christmas Puppy and you can find him here on the Digi Doodle Studios website.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used some patterned papers from Stampin' Up and a stamped sentiment also from Stampin' Up.

I layered with green and red paper and finished my card with some red gems.

When I saw the photo I remembered this paper which was in a pack given away with magazine recently.  And then I thought about the rings on tree trunks telling you how old the tree is so I added a sentiment related to age!

My sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set and the kraft and cream card I used is from Craft Creations.

I was a bit stumped by this theme to start with and then I remembered a stamp set which came free with one of the crafting magazines.

I stamped and coloured the pineapple and then the sentiment underneath.  I added a black peel off line down the right hand side to finish the design.

Rather than using buttons as embellishments, I decided to make a card with them as the main feature.  I had five of these red striped buttons in my stash so I made them into baubles!
