I'm sharing a card I made at a recent Stampin' Up class using the very cute 'Sweet and Precious' stamp set.

I adapted this one with a couple of changes to make it into a Christmas design.

I used a stamped sentiment from Little Claire Designs and a snowflake punch from Hobbycraft with some pale blue gems to finish the card.

New Aud Sentiments Challenge - Not a Rectangle Card and/or Use Washi Tape

 

We're back today on the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog with a new challenge:

This time we want to seen something that's either not a rectangle card and/or uses washi tape plus of course there must be a sentiment.

I used both parts of the challenge and made a square card using washi tape.

I used two designs of washi tape from my stash to make the background to the main panel of the card before matting on to gold paper and patterned paper from Stampin' Up.

The sentiment is from the Framed and Festive stamp set from Stampin' Up die cut with a square die also from Stampin' Up.  I used Golden Glitz Delicata ink to stamp it and used foam pads to attach it to the rest of the card.

Guest Designer Inspiration for Relatively Thoughtful

 

I'm back today to share another Guest Designer project for Relatively Thoughtful:

Today I've used the Dream at the Beach Papercraft Collection to make a three panel card.

Before I stuck it all together, I took some photos of the panels:

I used different elements from the kit including the tags which I cut down to rectangular shapes, the words and two of the papers.  Everything was edged with Distress Ink.

I looked at the photo and decided to use the butterflies and flowers on my card - I thought straight away of a stamp set from Clearly Besotted Stamps called 'Flutterby Corners'.

I stamped one of the corners plus an extra butterfly and coloured it with Promarkers.  Then I added a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up.
