New Alphabet Challenge - V is for Vegetables


We've reached the letter V at the Alphabet Challenge and V is for vegetables!  As soon as I saw the challenge theme I knew exactly what stamp set I'd be using!

Scribbles Designs Special Birthday Event!

Hello and welcome to our Special Birthday Event brought to you by the full time team of Scribbles Designs.

Scribbles Designs is SEVEN this year! We have some fun events planned to help celebrate so be sure to pop by the challenge blog over the next month to join in all the fun. We started off our celebration with Challenge #85-Penguin Power. Click HERE to check out all the details for our current challenge.

One way we are celebrating, is by having a LETTER HUNT spread across six days and it is time for the fourth clue to be released. 

If you missed the first stop, please go HERE and start from the beginning to ensure that you understand how to play along and get all the clues you will need to participate.


Clue #4


  1. Go to the Scribbles Designs Store: http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca
  2. In the labels section which you will find on the right hand of the page in the sidebar, click on Penguins.
  3. Scroll through all the penguin images until you find the fun image that I used in my creation today (see below).
  4. Once you have found the correct image in the store (below the watermarked image and 'buy' button), you will see, "Letter For January 19th:", along with the actual letter which is in block style and has a snowflake background. 
  5. Make note of the letter that you see and keep track of it.
  6. This is one of your six letters.

New Alphabet Challenge Blog - U is for Use Washi Tape


It's time for another challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and we've reached the letter U which is U is for Use Washi Tape!

I used some washi tape I got from Dovecraft - two different designs.  I punched out a bauble shape with a Stampin' Up punch and added the tape to a piece of card underneath.

I added another strip of washi tape on the left hand side of the panel and added a stamped sentiment.

New Sparkles Challenge - Winter Blues


This month at the Sparkles Challenge our theme is 'winter blues'.

I used reverse masking for my card, cutting the aperture for my mask with a Stampin' Up die.  I inked through the aperture using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then stamped the trees from the Stampin' Up Winter Woods stamp set.

I added a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and some glitter glue round the edge of the inked shape.

I layered the panel on to a piece of A4 Silver Pearl Paper from The Papebox Ltd available here.

New Perfectly Clean and Simple Challenge - One Layer

I used one of the stamps from the Straight Up Floral Set from Stamping Bella, stamped on to a Craft Creations card base and coloured with Promarkers.  The sentiment is from Little Claire Designs and I finished the card by adding two lines of faux stitching.
