New AAA Cards Challenge - S is for ....

I posted another CAS card here last weekend and today's card uses a leftover piece from the stencilled panel on that card.

New AAA Cards Challenge - 1 + 1 Challenge

 


We're back today on the AAA Cards Challenge with a new challenge:


The idea behind this challenge is that you use the centre circle plus one of the other surrounding circles.  For more details about the challenge and to see the inspiration for the rest of the team, head over to the challenge blog here.

I used 'summer' plus 'beach' to make my card.

The stamp and sentiment I used are from the Good Vibes stamp set from Jane's Doodles available here from Relatively Thoughtful and I used a scrap of striped paper to paper piece his shorts!

New AAA Cards Challenge - Sketch

 


We're back today on the AAA Cards Challenge Blog with a new challenge:

I choose to use a square card base for my card and started with a layer of silver glitter cardstock followed by a white panel.

The snowflakes were punched with a Woodware punch and the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz pack.

To make my card I used the It's Cake O'Clock stamp set from Jane's Doodles which you can find on the Relatively Thoughtful website here.

I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and then die cut the stamped panel with a Stampin' Up die.

So this time we've got a colour challenge for you.  I have to admit that I find colour challenges a little daunting because sometimes I don't always feel I have the right colours.

New AAA Cards Challenge - Follow My Lead

 


It's time for a new challenge on the AAA Cards Challenge Blog and this fortnight we're playing follow my lead:

I used Jane's card as a sketch - I didn't have a suitable die cut or bold sentiment so I changed that part of the card by using a sentiment label from Funky Fossil Designs.

The panel on the left of the card was created using the Ink and Flip Butterfly Pattern Stencil from Uniko - I used Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and Daffodil Delight from Stampin' Up.

As You Like It Challenge - favourite card style: simple (I enjoy making CAS cards and focussing on just one or two elements.  I also don't feel confident using lots of embellishments and I often don't like the results!)

To make my card I used two strips of navy paper and a die cut shape in paler blue using the smallest of the Stitched Nestables Hexagon die set from Creative Craft Products. 

I added a snowflake using my Hobbycraft punch on another piece of navy paper, a clear gem and a sentiment from Funky Fossil Designs.

New AAA Cards Challenge - Colour Challenge

Here's another view of my card:


I cut some 1cm strips from left over pieces of card from Stampin' Up, Hobbycraft and Limetree crafts and then taped them together.

I used a die from X-Cut to cut a heart from the strips of card and then stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up using Night of Navy ink.  I then die cut the panel using a stitched Stampin' Up die.
