A Sad Goodbye to Deedee's Digis

I've only been a member of the Design Team at Deedee's Digis for a short time but it's been a privilege to be part of the team.  Before joining the DT I'd been a regular player in the monthly progressive challenge for quite a while and I love all the digis in the shop.

As a little farewell I've made this card using one of Deedee's cute digis - this guy is part of the 'Happy Brrr-Day' set.

Thanks to Deedee for sharing her talents with us - I'll miss your store and being part of the Design Team.

Deedee's Digis Blog Hop!!

Happy December! It's a brand new month, and what better way to celebrate than with a blog hop?!?  This month Deedee's Digis is proudly sponsoring the quarterly blog hop at the House of Cards challenge blog, where all of their hop creations are centred around this inspiration photo.

And here's my card using the photo as inspiration:

I've used 'Puppy's Christmas' which you can find here on Deedee's website and I've picked up the parcel, kraft card, colours and sentiment from the photo.

So here's how OUR hop works:

• Based on the same inspiration photo, some of our Design Team have created projects to inspire you.
• You have until 11:55 PM Pacific Time this Saturday December 5, to visit our participating designers' blogs and leave them some love.
• At the end of our hop, each participating designer will choose a winner from the comments left on their hop post, and each winner will receive one digi set of their choice from our shop.
• All winners will be announced here on Monday, December 7th.

For my card I've used a digi stamp and sentiment from Deedee's Designs called 'Winter Church' - you can find the set here on Deedee's website.  I coloured the image with Promarkers, added some clear Wink of Stella pen to the snow and then used navy and metallic silver card to mat the image.

Time completely got away from me last month and I missed entering the Digi of the Month Challenge at Deedee's Digis so I'm really lucky that this month is a 'free for all' and I was able to download the Christmas basket digi free of charge - thank you!

I've coloured the digi with Promarkers and used some paper from an old Dovecraft paper pack split into three panels.  I finished it with some punched snowflakes and gems plus a peel off sentiment.
