New Addicted to CAS Challenge - Music

 

It's time for a new challenge on the Addicted to CAS Challenge Blog and the code word for this challenge is:

This one had me puzzled for a little while and then I remembered a Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps set called 'All That Jazz' and decided it was perfect for the theme.  

I simply stamped three of the characters, a sentiment and some notes using Versafine Clair in black.  I matted the stamped panel on to black card to give it some definition.

To make my card I used a stamp set called 'Kindred Spirits' from For the Love of Stamps.

I coloured the gin bottle to look like Bombay Sapphire Gin using Promarkers.

I used a stitched die from Stampin' Up to cut my image layer.

New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Spooky or Use Orange

There's a new challenge today on the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge Blog and this time we're asking you to make something spooky or to use orange.

I've gone for the option of using orange on my card as I don't make many spooky cards!

I started my card by applying Distress Ink onto my base card using an aperture cut into another piece of card with a rectangular die.  I cut a small circle from a sticky note to mask off the sun (top right behind the buildings).

I then stamped elements from the All That Jazz stamp set made by Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps and added some gems and a black paper layer to finish the card.
