New Inspiration Station Challenge Partnering With the Double Trouble Challenge

 

We're back today on the Inspiration Station Challenge with a new challenge and here is the inspiration photo:

The idea behind the challenge is that you create something inspired by our photo AND tell us how you were inspired.  You can find more details and see the creations from the rest of the team here on the challenge blog.

I was inspired by the sweets and the colours in the photo.  

I used the 'Sweetheart Candy' digi stamp set from Jan's Digi Stamps available here - the set contains pre-coloured images and an outline version which is the one I used.  I put one of the sentiments made up of two little heart sweets on the bottom of the main image before printing it out.

To make my card I repeat stamped the 'hugs and kisses' sentiment from the Uniko Simply Said II stamp set onto pale pink paper and then die cut with a heart die from X Cut.

I scored three lines on the bottom of the card and then added the heart just above.

I used the cabin, the fence and the little fox and then added the snow and a sentiment.

I outlined the stamps using a pastel blue Promarker although it doesn't really show up on my photo.

I'm sharing another of the cards which I made on a recent Stampin' Up Zoom class with Fanny Stafford using the Daffodil Dies and the Daffodil Afternoon patterned paper.

For this card I used the reverse side of the patterned paper as I thought it went perfectly with the die cut daffodils.
