There's a new challenge today on the AAA Birthday Challenge Blog:
So this month we want to see ink smooshing on your cards! For more details and to see the cards from the rest of the team, head over to the challenge blog here.
Here's another view of my card:
I have to admit that ink smooshing isn't something I do very often so this one was a challenge for me! I used Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door with a water spray and then trimmed my piece of card to fit my stamped image.
I used the 'Marigold' stamp from Honey Doo Crafts here stamped in black ink and then added a birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up and some black gems.
Helen, your ink smooshing card is absolutely stunning! The combination of Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade, and Barn Door creates such a vibrant and warm background. The 'Marigold' stamp from Honey Doo Crafts and the birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up add a lovely touch.
ReplyDeletethat was a quick card and yet so pretty
