Today I'm very excited to be back again as a Crazy Cousin on the Double Trouble Challenge Blog!!
This means that I will be guest designing for the two February challenges and the first one starts today.
You can find today's new challenge here.
Here's a summary of what's involved:
So Thing 1 is to follow a 3-2-1 recipe:
I've used 3 patterned papers, 2 shapes (circle and heart) and an image.
Next is Thing 3 which is to include a heart and a sentiment:
I've included a punched heart plus a sentiment
And finally, if you've used the 3-2-1 recipe and followed the sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday you can link your card up there to be eligible for an additional random draw chance!
Here's another view of my card:
To make my card I used:
- Sending Love stamp set from Lili of the Valley
- papers from Lili of the Valley (strips left from other projects)
- circle dies from Memory Box and Stampin' Up
- heart punch
- card and paper from Craft Creations
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Festive Friday - pink, red, hearts, cute animals
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - love
Snippets Playground - strips of left over patterned papers
Adorable card Helen, so glad to see you joining us here at Double Trouble this month!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card Helen! A perfect card for Valentine's Day - and great use of snippets as well! I will always miss LOTV - Clearly Besotted is another one of my favourites that seems to be very unlikely to return. If you like Crafty Roo, sadly they too are closing up shop in the near furture. Sad indeed.

Just had a final thought - all three of the craft suppliers I listed above were/are small family run businesses. Fingers crossed for a few small and really well known UK ones that they aren't feeling the squeeze too much.
