To make my card I used the 'Spring Birds' die cut and paper pack which was a free gift with a recent issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft.

I layered the paper with black card and added a sentiment circle from Craftwork Cards to finish my card.

New AAA Birthday Challenge - Ink Smooshing

I have to admit that ink smooshing isn't something I do very often so this one was a challenge for me!  I used Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door with a water spray and then trimmed my piece of card to fit my stamped image.

I used the 'Marigold' stamp from Honey Doo Crafts here stamped in black ink and then added a birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up and some black gems.

New Allsorts Challenge - Anything Goes/Romance/Music

To make my card I used the brand new Loved Up digital stamp collection from Kate Hadfield Designs which is available here - you get a lot of fabulous images in the set but I couldn't resist using this cute bear first!

New Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge - Black and White With One Colour

Here's another view of my card:


I smooshed some Distress Ink over a piece of white card - I used Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch combined with water.

Then I stamped one of the images from the Dainty Delight stamp set from Stampin' Up in black ink adding a sentiment also from Stampin' Up.

I layered with black and white card and finished the card with two black gems.

I used the 'Spring Birds' die cut and paper collection with was free with a recent issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine.

I also used a circle die from Memory Box and a scalloped circle die from Spellbinders.  My sentiment is from Stampin' Up.
