New Make My Monday Challenge - Halloween Colours (Your Choice)

To make my card I used this month's new papercraft collection from Relatively Thoughtful called 'Diwali'.  It's an amazing collection of bright papers and images:

I fussy cut the main image and matted it on to black paper for more impact.  I used a piece of the patterned paper for an outside layer cut with a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I'm sharing a desk calendar I designed for a card making class I hosted last week for the ladies' group at our church.  

We made a card, a gift holder and this calendar.  I precut most of the pieces for them - there were 19 people there so it was quite a lot of cutting and die cutting!

To make this calendar I used:

It's a fabulous collection of images, papers and sentiment and is available from Relatively Thoughtful.  You can choose between the paper version here and the digital version here.

The only things I added were some gold paper for layers, black and gold gems and then I used a fineliner pen to add my stitching detail.
