New Sweet 7 Challenge - 3D Elements

For my card I've used a digi from Bugaboo called 'Elephant Topper' - you can find it here on their website.  I printed the digi three times and then cut out different parts of them to layer up - this is my 3D element for the card.  I finished the card with a punched border using my Fiskars Threading Water punch.

Papercraft Inspirations and Quick Cards Magazines


I am very excited to have been featured as this month's 'blog of the month' by Papercraft Inspirations magazine!   I've scanned the page and you can see the photo of my blog plus three of my cards and a little bit about me.


I was also part of the Reader Design Team for this month's Quick Cards Magazine - my card doesn't appear in the magazine but is on their website.  We were provided with the papers which are in the middle of this month's issue to make a card.  

The papers were centred around birthdays and for my card (above) I used three of the patterned papers and then die cut a circle from one of the others which I used with one of the sentiments.

New Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Clean and Simple


Our new challenge today on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog is 'clean and simple' - you can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used one of the stamps from the Little Claire April club stamp set 'April Showers' - you can find it here on the website.  I've paper pieced the umbrella and coloured the rest of the image with Promarkers.  The sentiment is part of the stamp set and I've added some ribbon and gems to finish the card.

New Little Claire Challenge - Use Kraft Card

For my card I've used the 'Silhouette Boat' stamp from Little Claire - you can find it here on the Little Claire website.  

I stamped the main image on to kraft card using my brown Versafine ink pad and then die cut the image in to a circle.  I layered with some patterned paper, dark brown paper and some more kraft paper.  

The sentiment comes with the main image - I stamped this on to kraft card and again layered it using dark brown card.

Imagine That Friday Inspiration


Today I'm sharing another card made using the April Digi of the Month set 'My Sailmate' from Imagine That.  You can find the set here on the Imagine That website but if you played along in last month's challenge you will have received the set free.  It's a progressive challenge so if you take part this month, Kris will send you May's set free of charge.  All the details about the challenge are here.

I've made a sort of stepper card using the boat image and one of the sentiments.  I resized the anchor and then repeat printed it to get a line of anchors for the middle step.

From the photo above the card looks a bit flat so here's the side view:

Dinkies Rain Girl from Little Claire


This is a card made using one of the latest Dinkies stamps from Little Claire.  This one is called 'Rain Girl' and you can find her here on the Little Claire website.

I've also used one of the sentiments from the current club stamp set 'April Showers' which is here on the website - I thought it fitted perfectly with the 'Rain Girl' stamp.

For my card I've used an image from Whoopsi Daisy which I've coloured with Promarkers.  I embossed the panel on the front of my card with a Crafts Too embossing folder and then added Card Candi and lace to finish it.

This is another version of the birthday card I posted recently using the Memory Box 'Grand Happy Birthday' die.
