A great opportunity to grab a bargain!

I've used various dies and punches to create my cards as well as some card and paper to layer up the designs.  It's a really easy kit to use because everything coordinates - ideal as a gift for someone who is new to card making or a more experienced crafter who wants to use their dies, punches etc to create cards.

Here are the next two cards:

And this last one was made using the pieces of paper I had left after I'd made the other cards:

New Simply Create Too Challenge - Make a Shaker Card

We've got a new challenge today on the Simply Create Too Challenge Blog and this time we want you to make a shaker card.

For all the details and to see the cards from the rest of the Design Team, head over to the challenge blog here.

My shake card is the simpler and easier version of the traditional design!

I used a topper from Making Cards magazine with a piece of card on the back to strengthen it.  I put this into a clear plastic card bag with some snow shaker pieces and then folded the back around the topper before sealing it with tape.

This unit is then put onto a piece of red card and then on to patterned paper.  Much simpler than the usual way of making a shaker card but I still think it looks effective!

For all the details and to see the cards from the rest of the Design Team, head over to the Challenge Blog here.

To make my card I used an embossing folder from Stampin' Up on some dark purple card.  Then I die cut the thank you (which is also from Stampin' Up) in black paper before embossing that as well with another folder.

I finished the card with two punched flowers and some black punched dots.
