It's a Girl Thing - Turner Syndrome Foundation Awareness Blog Hop 2020

Welcome to my post for this year's Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop!

First of all, a little bit about Turner Syndrome - it's a genetic disorder where a female is born missing her second X chromosome leaving her with life long medical issues.  These issues can include things like high cholesterol levels, low bone density, poor coordination, liver problems and kidney problems.

February is Turner Syndrome Awareness month and this second blog hop is taking place to help towards this - we aim to make the crafting community aware of the syndrome and try to help increase diagnosis rates.

We have an amazing range of sponsors for you:

plus Design Team spoonsors:

Prize winners will be announced on 15 February 2020.

To start off the blog hop, please visit the blog hop page here and you can find more details here.

If you look back to the start of this post you'll see a little bit of what I've learnt about Turner Syndrome - why not add what you've learnt in your comment so we can all help spread the word?

This is the mood board that we've all used as inspiration for our creations:

And here's my card:

I've picked the flower image and the colour pink from the mood board.

And here's what I've used to make my card:

- Jean's Cherry Blossom digi stamp available here from blog hop sponsor SheepSki Designs
- Promarkers to colour the image
- patterned paper from Poundland
- stamped sentiment from Uniko
- other paper and card from Craft Creations

So now it's over to you to complete the blog hop - don't forget to go here to start the hop!
