Another Christmas card - this stamp is called Lola With Present and it a really cute one. It's finished with silver and snow backing papers, some corner peel offs and then two punched circles with peel off words.
This is another Visible Image stamp and one of my favourites from their range. I've just put some backing papers behind it and some nail heads at the corners of the image.
This is one of the Christmas card designs I've made this year. The robin stamp is from Visible Image and he fits perfectly inside the circular scalloped Nestability with a red layer behind the image. The background paper has metallic red holly berries which don't show up on the scan but look much better 'in the real'.
These are four ATCs that I've made recently for Christmas swaps. I think the poinsettia was a cover mounted stamp from Craft Stamper last year. The stamp of the three birds on a branch is from another free set of stamps from this Christmas and the last one is a Smirk stamp
This is a card made with the Winter Mimi stamp from Pink Gem designs with some blue spotted background paper and a Cuttlebugged panel behind the stamped image. I finished it with some silver line peel offs and some punched silver snowflakes.
These are two ATCs made for a Christmas Tree swap - they had to include peel off stickers. I used the positive peel off on one and the bits left over on the other. The top and bottom borders were done with a Fiskars Border Punch and finished with gold dot peel offs.
This card has been made for the lucky card dip at the stamp club I belong to. The stamp is a Rachelle Anne Miller design, the paper is DCWV and I've finished it with a scalloped border and some peel offs.
This is a swap card made for one of the Yahoo groups I belong to - each month a member chooses a theme or technique and this month it was my turn. My choice was winter.
The stamp is from Whiff of Joy, coloured with Promarkers and then with some Stickles added. I've backed the image with pale blue card and the paper is from an old DCWV pad. Finally I added a white peel off on the blue punched circle.
These two cute characters are from Basic Grey as is the backing paper which has tiny versions of them printed on it. They were just too lovely to resist when I spotted them on ebay .....!!
I love these Oriental characters and thought this backing card went well with the images and also the words. The characters are from Woodware and the words from a plate from Katy's Corner. The card is from a pack of Kanban seconds I bought at the last G Mex craft fair.
These are four of the six mini ATCs that I've made today for a swap - each one is 1.5 by 2.5 inches and they are double sided with some gold thread in between the front and back so they can be hung up. They're made using scraps of backing paper, Crafty Individuals images and some word stamps.
This is a card I've made to celebrate the ruby wedding anniversary of a couple of my parents' friends. It's done using the Bookatrix board with red Craftword Cards card, gold matt board and acetate. The sentiment was printed on the computer and the embellishment on the other side is a peel off with red stones in it.
These are two ATCs that I've made for a colour swap on one of the Yahoo groups I belong to. The image and word comes from a Penny Black sheet I bought recently. Colour is a bit of a new thing for me - it's a standing joke that most of my cards in the past have been done in shades of brown!
This is a pendant that I made today at a workshop by Mary Kay from Stamp Camp in Dallas (http://www.stampcamp.com/).
We used a large metal washer as the base. We then used self adhesive label paper which we coloured with Judikins Mica Gloss using small dots of colour which was then brayered to spread the colour. We then overstamped with permanent black ink and then stuck this onto the washer.
This is a card made for an animal swap in a stitching cards group I belong to. The pattern is from the Stitching Cards site (http://www.stitchingcards.com/) and was just too cute to resist!
This card was made using an image from a Stamp Man plate, coloured with Promarkers and then overlayed with jigsaw pieces onto which I stamped and coloured the same image. The card was made for a challenge but I'm not sure it really fits the task set which was to make a card with an altered jigsaw piece on it.
This card was made for a resist mingle on one of the groups I belong to. The image is from Stamp Camp, stamped in Versamark and embossed in detail powder. I then rubbed Old Paper and Tattered Rose Distress inks. I then covered the image in kitchen towel and ironed over the top to remove the clear embossing and just leave the ink behind. It was layered up with some gold paper using my Nestabilities and then mounted onto fawn card and more gold paper. The corners were cut from the same image.
This is a card made with a Penny Black image, coloured with Promarkers and then scalloped with a Nestability and mounted onto scalloped pink card. The outside of the card was already cut (it's a Craftwork Cards blank) and I added pink nail head gems in each scallop.
And another cutie card! This one is on Kanban backing card with a little embellishment made from a Craftwork Cards birthday greeting and the smallest scalloped circle from my Nestabilities.
Another card made with one of the stamped images very kindly provided by my friend Sylvia. I've used my Cuttlebug Nestabilities for the scalloped circles and then some cupcake scrapbook paper in the background.
These ATCs were made for a monthly swap. The stamps are from Little Claire - three of the four images on the main stamp. They are finished with pink and brown card and brown punched flowers together with some scrapbook paper on the background.
This is an ATC made for a swap. The image is the cover stamp from this month's Craft Stamper, coloured in red Promarker with a gold gel pen. The backing is DCWV and it's finished with some little red and gold dot peel offs.
This is a card that I've made today for a handbag challenge swap. The base is made using the WS Design handbag template - I used white card covered in black paper. The pink panels were then cut to size from the original template and Cuttlebugged. The flower is a Sizzlit die and I added some Velcro under the flap and a black dot for the fastening.
Very appropriate for the weather we have here at the moment!
This image is part of an amazing selection of stamped images from my friend Sylvia and I love it! It's coloured with Promarkers, layered onto card and then finished with a piece of ribbon top and bottom.
These are three ATCs made for a swap - I've uploaded two cards made using the lady sitting down before but I was experimenting with the other images too.
This is something I haven't done for a while - a technique I really like and that looks quite effective. This card is for a swap - I decided to use black, white and silver and it's finished with a black peel off.
I made this card this afternoon for an alcohol ink swap. I coloured self adhesive foil with alcohol inks and then used an embossing folder in my Cuttlebug to add the pattern. It's finished with one of my favourite stamped images and some gold and black paper.
This card was made with the "Lola with Bird" stamp - coloured with Promarkers and with some spotted pink backing paper. I've finished it with pink peel off lines and dots around the image.
This is another one of the new designs from Little Claire stamps - coloured with Promarkers as before. The dotted circle is stamped - a Visible Image design and then I punched a circle of card and added a greeting.
These are three ATCs that I made for a "Christmas in July" swap - all three are Elzybells images. I didn't think they needed much adding so have just put them on some card and added a greeting to the smaller image.
This is a coloured version of the black and white card I posted a couple of weeks back - it's coloured with Promarkers and then mounted onto some Anna Griffin paper with a little paper flower in the corner.
This is a minizine that I've made this past weekend for a swap - the little book is hand made and I've decorated it with papers, vintage images and some word tickets.
This is a swap card made for a black and white swap - the image is a stamped one and then it's layered on different backgrounds. The little flower is just two large black punched flowers with a smaller white flower overlayed.
This is a card made with a new stamp from Little Claires - the stamp is called "Victoria". It's layered onto Bazzill card and coloured with Copic markers.
I've been to a workshop today given by Jill Tuck from The Stamp Man and made this gorgeous chipboard and acetate book. The book is a Woodware kit and we used images from one of Kay Carley's sheets of UMs. The backgrounds were sprayed and then the same inks used to colour in the flower images.
These are two of the cards made from a sheet of black and white decoupage designs that I bought recently. There are silver outlines on the flowers so I've used some silver mirri-card as one of my mats - they don't show up too well in the photos.
This is matchbox and some small ATCs to go inside that I've made this weekend for a swap. I've done a vintage theme and managed to use up lots of little scraps of paper and tiny images.
This is a box that I made recently for a swap - we were given the metal book plate holder and could choose what we used it to make. I painted the box and then used Brilliance Ink on the top. It is stamped with a Paper Artsy Mini and the book plate holder was coloured using alcohol inks.
These are some of the pages from a Spring mini book that I made for a recent swap. It's not something that I'd tried before but I really enjoyed it and was pleased with the results.
