New Crafters Cafe Challenge - Anything Goes/Balloons

 


We're back today on the Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog with a new challenge:

GDT Card for the AAA Colourful Challenge

 


Today I'm very excited to be joining the AAA Colourful Challenge as a Guest Designer:


It's a monthly challenge blog based on colour suggestions - the colours provided need to be the prominent ones you use but you can also include neutrals in your design.  You can make any type of papercraft project and it can be for any occasion.

To make my card I used a two step Plaid layering stencil from the Uniko Picked Posies collection.

I used - Stampin' Up Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove inks as well as the following Distress Inks - Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold.

My birthday sentiment is from the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set from Time for Tea Designs.

To make my card I used the stamp set and one of the papers from Issue 5 of the Crafter's Inspiration magazine from Crafter's Companion.

I stamped the flowers using black Memento ink and then coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I die cut the stamped and coloured panel with a die from Stampin' Up and added one of the sentiments with black Versafine ink.

GDT Card for Relatively Thoughtful - Not Just For Christmas

 


I'm back today to share another GDT card for Relatively Thoughtful.

This month we're showcasing the wonderful 'Not Just For Christmas' collection:


It's a wonderful collection of images and papers for Christmas and other occasions.

Here's another view of my card:


I used two of the patterned papers, one of the dog images and a fussy cut flower to the side of the image.  I cut the sentiment from the script paper.

I also used a Sizzix die to cute the image, gold sparkle tape from The Works and red paper for layering.

Watch out for more cards using the collection!

New Addicted to CAS Challenge - Summer

GDT Card for the Daring Cardmakers Challenge - Elemental Inspiration

 


Today I'm very excited to be joining the team at the Daring Cardmakers Challenge as a Guest Designer:


It's a weekly challenge and every Friday a team member posts a new dare or challenge together with inspiration from the Design Team.

This week it's an elemental inspiration challenge:

New Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes/Recycle or Upcycle

 


We're back today on the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge with a new challenge.

Here's another view of my card:


To make my card I recycled the front of a Christmas card as my backing.  I matted this onto a piece of gold foil card and then navy paper.

I added a piece of white ribbon which was recycled from a gift bag.

The sentiment is from the Framed and Festive stamp set from Stampin' Up and I used dies from Ellipse to frame the sentiment with more gold foil and navy card.

The Pinspirational Challenge also has a recycle/upcycle theme so I'm going to share my card there.  I'm also linking it to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where the theme is festive frames.
