New Inspiration Station Challenge

It's time for a new challenge on the Inspiration Station Challenge Blog:

Each month we give you an inspiration photo - you make something inspired by the photo AND tell me how you were inspired.  For more details about today's new challenge, head over to the challenge blog here.

And here is this month's photo:

At first glance I saw a photo of a mother and daughter but then I was reminded of a digi stamp I saw recently of two animals hugging and I decided to use that!

So here's another view of my card:

And to make my card I used:

New Cupcake Inspirations Challenge - Orange, Pink and White

We're back today on the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge with a new challenge:

So for the next two weeks, we want to see orange, pink and white on your cards.  For more details about today's new challenge and to see the cards from the rest of the team, head over to the challenge blog here.

I decided to create a stencilled background to use on my card.  The stencil is the Cross Stitch Stencil from Honey Doo Crafts which is one of my recent purchases.  It's a large stencil so I created a background which was 15cm by 15cm - I was able to use it for today's card and next Monday's card too!

I used Flirty Flamingo and Grapefruit Grove inks from Stampin' Up.

Here's another view of my card:

After using the stencil I added some more colour with blending brushes and then a tiny accent detail with a fineliner pen.

The birthday die is from Funky Fossil Designs cut using some orange and white card.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Crazy Is Our Fame - Stencils Are Our Game - April stencil fun challenge
