Today I've got some very exciting news to share - I'm now a member of the Crafts-Too Challenge You Design Team!!
There was a DT call on the blog last month and I was really pleased to be asked to join the team - I'm looking forward to working with everyone and of course lots of great Crafts-Too products.
I've joined the team part way through the month - the theme for November is 'vintage Christmas' and the current twist on the challenge is to make a polychromatic project. You can find all the details plus the gorgeous work of the other DT members here on the challenge blog.
For my card I've used a vintage Christmas image from the Nellie Snellen Christmas Vintage Presents sheet. I coloured a silver peel off frame with a Cinnamon Promarker and then placed this on a piece of acetate with the image underneath. I used the Crafts-Too Dot Embossing Folder on the red card and along the bottom of the card the Crafts-Too 'Stocking Surprise' cutting and embossing stencil. This was cut in green and kraft and then I inlaid the kraft pieces to give the contrast.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog - 'anything goes'
Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - 'warm Christmas'
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - 'indoors'
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra Challenge - 'anything goes'
Rhedd and Rose Challenge - 'Christmas' (tree and stockings)
Bearly-Mine Challenges - 'red and green using die cuts'
A Creative Romance - 'vintage'
Welcome Helen, it's so lovely to have you on the team with your fabulous creations. I love the festive red and green with the vintage image and the little stockings hang beautifully at the bottom.
