New Glory of Christmas Challenge - Fold and Cut

Exciting News!


A very big thank you to Hilde from the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog for asking me to join the Design Team after I was a Guest Design Team member on the challenge last year.

New Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Love Is In The Air


We've got a new challenge on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog today and this time our theme is 'love is in the air'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used a transparent stamp set from Penny Black called 'Love Bears' coloured with Promarkers.  I've used one of the main images and one of the sentiments.  The image and silver layer were die cut with stitched circle dies and the sentiment with a label die.  I've added some clear gems and punched hearts to finish my card.

GDT Inspiration Post for Crafty Sentiments Designs - 60's Fashion


Today I'm sharing a GDT card on the Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration Blog - you can find my post here.

I've used the '60's Fashion' stamp which is here on the Crafty Sentiments Designs website.  I've used Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border die to cut the two pieces of background paper and have added die cut flowers, gems and punched dots to finish the card.

Gerda Steiner Designs January Progressive Challenge - Love You Kitten

Simply Homemade Magazine


I was really excited to have three of my card featured in Simply Cards magazine last month and even more chuffed to see one of them on the cover!

I made three very simple cards using the 'Silhouette Romance' Irresistible Images pack from LC Designs which you can find here on their website.  There's a great range of these image packs to choose from - all pre-coloured and cut square although you can die cut them into different shapes if you want to.  They are great for quick cards or if you're making cards in bulk.  You can see the whole range here on the website.

As well as the image panels, I've also used a selection of LC Designs Dinkies sentiments - you can find the full range here.

Crafty Sentiments Designs on Hochanda Today!

Crafty Sentiments Designs on Hochanda Today!!

The Design Team have been hard at work making samples for the show and here are the first of my cards using 'The Explorers' rubber stamp set.  For my first card (above) I used a page from an atlas as my background.

For my second card I picked the colours from my colouring of the image and used striped paper and green brown paper to layer up.

For my card I've used two of the image panels from the new LC Designs 'Roses' Irresistible Images Pack.  You can find them here on the website.  The images are beautiful and they are pre-coloured so are perfect for quick cards.

 The image panels are square so I die cut them into a circle and added some pearls and tiny white hearts.  The sentiment is from the LC Designs 'Dictionary Definitions' set which is here on the website,

New Julia Spiri Challenge - Anything Goes


We've got a new challenge today on the Julia Spiri Challenge Blog and this time it's an 'anything goes' challenge.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

The Design Team have all followed the challenge twist and made pocket letters - it's something I hadn't made before and I made a set of three of them.  I've used the 'Little Ballerina' digi stamp which you can find here in Julia's Etsy shop.

I printed out two quotations about dance and then added some gems, tiny punched hearts and die cut flowers.

We look forward to seeing what you make!  The winner will receive 2 digi stamp images but if you have used a Julia Spiri image you will get 4 digi stamp images and a possible GDT spot for a future challenge.  There is also a top 3.

I used a scalloped card base to make my card and created my 'borders' using some self adhesive red gems.
