Little Claire Christmas in July Class Part 1

This is one of the cards that I designed for the Little Claire Christmas in July class which took place last Saturday morning.  I will have another card to share on Thursday and will then post the rest next week once all the next Christmas stamps are on the website!

For this card we used 'A Little Bird Told Me' which you can find here on the Little Claire website - in case you're wondering where the bird is, we didn't stamp him because then the image wouldn't have fitted in to the oval die cut I wanted to use!!

Little Claire Flowers and Butterflies Class - Part 2

Today I'm sharing three more cards from the Little Claire Flowers and Butterflies class which took place yesterday afternoon.

First of all a pocket tag card using the beautiful 'Geranium' stamp which you can find here on the Little Claire website.  I made a tag from an oval piece of card and cut the front of the card in to a triangle shape to make it a bit different.  The sentiment I've used is from the 'Dictionary Definitions' set which you can find here.

Next we made an easel card using the gorgeous 'Butterfly Flourish' stamp set which you can find here - for this one I used the main butterfly image and the verse.

Finally we made a card using the 'Butterfly Blossom' sticker sheet which you can find here on the website.  This card shows just how good the stickers are - great for quick cards and really easy to colour because the raised lines keep your colouring within the design.

I'll be sharing the cards from my other class 'Christmas in July' next week - there are also more classes coming up over the next few months.  All the details are here on the website.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Little Claire Flowers and Butterflies Class - Part 1

A big thank you to all the ladies who came along to our two Little Claire classes today - we had a wonderful day and thankfully it was a bit cooler than it has been over the past few days!

Today and tomorrow I'll be sharing the cards that we made this afternoon in the 'Flowers and Butterflies' class.

First of all, a tag card using the Dinkies 'Flowerhead' stamp which you can find here on the Little Claire website.  The tag card base is available here and I also used one of the stamps from the 'Dictionary Definitions' stamp set which you can find here.  I used the stamp to making backing paper on two of the tag panels - the Dinkies stamps are a perfect size for doing this.

Next we made a card using the 'Butterfly' stamp and some of the Glitter Sparkle Sheet which you can find here.  For this card I stamped the butterfly twice and then coloured one of the images before covering it in the Glitter Sparkle Sheet.  I then cut out the wings of the butterfly and raised them up on the base image using foam pads.  I also used one of the embossed flower cards which you can find here on the website.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

One Stop Craft Challenge - 'make your own background' (first card)
Addicted to CAS - 'glitter' (second card)
Stampin' for the Weekend - 'sparkle and bling' (second card)

Creative Cardmaking Magazine - Baby Changing Tree from Little Claire

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Creative Cardmaking Magazine - the current issue has a feature about Little Claire's range of tree stamps.

I chose to use 'Baby Changing Tree' - for this set you need the original 'Changing Tree' set which you can find here on the website and the 'Baby Changing Tree' embellishments set which you can find here.  You only need to buy the original set once (your tree base stamp is in this set) and then you can add to it with different sets of embellishments - there are sets for Christmas, girly cards, Easter and lots of other occasions.  I've also used one of the stamps from the 'Dictionary Definitions' set' which you can find here.
