GDT Card for Bugaboo Stamps Freebie Friday - Crabby Cathy's Right Idea

To make my card I've used one of the images from the Stampin' Up 'Winter Woods' stamp set stamped in Memento black ink with a sentiment from one of last year's sets.

I scored a border round the edge of the card and added some glitter glue to ground the stamped image.  I finished the card with some black gems.

There's a new challenge today on Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Blog and this week it's anything Christmas goes or you can follow our optional theme and make your own background.

To make my card I ran some kraft card through my Cuttlebug with a snowflake embossing folder.  I then applied White Brilliance ink lightly over the embossing to pick up the raised areas.

The sentiment is a Crafter's Companion die which I die cut in white and then kraft.

I finished the card with some pearls to highlight the snowflakes.

New Not Just Cards Challenge - Anything Goes

New Through the Craft Room Door Magazine - November/December

The November-December issue of Through the Craft Room door is now available in the Subscribers Only area of the Website. With over almost two dozen tutorials and articles that include an acetate front card, an upcycling project and how to crochet a pumpkin you are sure to find something to fuel your creativity!
