Just for You ....

For this card I've used a new stamp from the Greetings Farm 'Miss Anya Love' set.  I die cut the easel card using a set of rectangle dies from Go Kreate - the brown base layer was also embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.  The paper is from Pink Petticoat and the two sentiment tags from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Stampin' for the Weekend - 'my favourite things' (the easel card, pink and brown colour combintation, the Anya stamp, my Cuttlebug)
Divas by Design - die cuts and punches (my dots are punched and the card layers are die cut)
I Love Promarkers - 'include flowers' (second entry)
My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge - 'something old, something new' (the stamp and paper are new and the die cuts and embossing folder are old)

Tag, You're It!

Here's another clean and simple card design (one of my specialities!) using the 'Single Flower' stamp from Little Claire Designs again plus (surprise, surprise!) some gingham paper from Craft Creations.  I've decoupaged the lower part of the flower although it's not that easy to see on the photo and I also custom-coloured the Card Candy to match my design.  The card blank was cut using the largest of the tag die cuts available on the Little Claire Designs website.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge Blog - 'lemon and lime'
Craft Room Challenge - 'summer birthdays'
I Love Promarkers - 'include flowers'
Crafts and Me - 'birthdays'

A Bit More Less is More

I wanted to make a birthday card today and thought I'd give the current sketch at Less is More another try as it's one that I really like.  This time I used paper from Craft Creations (this sketch is also excellent for using up odd strips of paper!) matted on to some blue card edged with a Martha Stewart punch.  The flowers are three of the images from the Little Claire Designs 'Boxed Flowers' stamp and the sentiment is also from Little Claire.

Less is More - Week 21

This is my card for challenge 21 at 'Less is More' which is a sketch challenge.  I used a strip of Doodlebug paper matted on to a strip of pink card on which I used my Fiskars Threading Water punch.  I've had this punch for a while but haven't used it.  When I first bought it I didn't really 'get' how it worked.  Since then I've bought a couple of the Martha Stewart punches and realised the principle is the same.  I saw the Fiskars one used on a card in a magazine last week and decided to get mine out to have another go!

The main stamped image is one of 'Claire's Sentiments' from Little Claire Designs which I stamped and coloured.  The two little cupcakes either side are from a Do Crafts set and I punched them out with my circle punch - again neglected since I bought my Nestabilities but it was just the right size for this card.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Moving Along With the Times - 'clean and simple'
Shopping Our Stash - 'tools of the trade' (my two punches)
Less is More - I followed the sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenges - 'cooking up a storm'

Happy Day!

This little guy is part of a set called 'Happy Day' from The Greetings Farm - I have to admit that I've the set for a long time (!) but had only ever used the little girl image from it before.  I think he's very cute although I'm not too sure about the creatures he has with him!!  The black and white papers I've used (spots and stripes) are from Craft Creations and I coloured some Card Candy with my black Promarker to match the design.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Sketch n Stash - I followed Vicky's great sketch
My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge - 'one for the boys'
Totally Papercrafts - 'spots and stripes'
Alphabet Challenge Blog - 'H is for half a dozen' (my Card Candy)
Here Come the Boys - 'spots and stripes'

Pear Tree Designs - 'stamp something'
Crafty Cardmakers - 'spots and stripes'

Fun in the Snow

Despite the warm weather today I've made another Christmas card!  For this one I've used one of my Elzybells stamps - a very cute design that is nice and easy to colour.  I wanted to make the card pink (see below for my challenge entries) but didn't have any suitable patterned paper.  Instead, I Cuttlebugged a panel of card and layered it with white card.  I added Card Candy to finish the design.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

ABC Christmas Challenge - 'M is for monochrome'
Bah Humbug - 'penguins'
Winter Wonderland - 'pretty in pink'

Little Claire Designs - Challenge 10

Challenge 10 at Little Claire Designs is now online and our theme is 'pink and brown' - probably one of my favourite colour combinations!  You can find all the details, some inspiration from the DT and the winners of the last challenge on the blog here.

For my card I've used the main image from 'The Right Time' stamp set which you can find here with one of the 'Claire's Sentiments' stamps which matches the owl design perfectly - you can see the full set here.

The paper I've used is from Doodlebug and I also used some brown ribbon and some Card Candy.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's pink and brown cards for the challenge!

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Crafty Calendar Challenge - 'things with wings' (second entry)
St Lukes Charity Card Challenge - 'come fly with me'
The Poodles Parlour - 'come fly with me'
Simply Create - 'fly with us'

Here Comes the Sun!

The paper I've used on this card comes from a Pink Petticoat pad that was free with a magazine I bought this week and as soon as I saw this particular design, I thought it would be perfect for a summer themed card.

I've used one of my Greetings Farm Anya stamps and a peel off phrase from Little Claire Deisgns.  I've added a Cuttlebugged strip of card across the middle of the card, some black peel off lines, faux stitching and some Card Candy.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Saturday Challenge - embossing
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - 'here comes summer'
Pollycraft - 'travel/holidays'
Papertake Weekly - 'here comes the sun'

Black and White Butterflies

This card was made with two of my favourite older stamps - a Hampton Arts stamp which has four butterflies in boxes and a vertical sentiment stamp from Hero Arts.  The background paper is from Craftwork Cards - the botanicals collection.  It's a very simple card - I've just used some black paper to layer it altogether.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Designs - 'monochromatic'
Charisma Cardz Challenge - 'white and one other colour'
Stampman Challenge - 'butterflies and dragonflies'

Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea

Here's another card made with the very cute Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea digi stamps - I couldn't resist this one!  I've made it into an easel card using some paper from Craftwork Cards and also two of their flowers glued together for the 'stopper'.  I'm not great at doing sparkle or 'bling' on my cards but for this one I added glitter to Bea's wings, the little flower and the hearts at the bottom of the table and chairs.  I also added some glitter to the card candy.  Hopefully it all shows up on the photo.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Saturday Challenge - 'something from around the house' (teapot and cups)
Teddy Bo Challenge - 'bling it on'
Crafty Creations Challenge - 'let it shine'
I Love Promarkers - 'anything goes'
Paper Sundaes - 'easel card'

Single Flower Sketch

This is another card made using the Little Claire Single Flower stamp, this time following a sketch from the Cupcake challenge.  I've kept the card very simple, using pink and green gingham paper from Craft Creations and some plain pink cardstock plus some peel off dots.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Cupcake Craft Challenges - 'sketcharoony'
Charisma Cardz - 'pink and green' (second entry)

No Stamping!

Something a bit different for me - a card made with no stamping!  I spotted a challenge to make a card using a sticker and it reminded me that I still have part of a sheet of very cute Penny Black stickeroos left.  I put this one on card first so I could use my corner rounder on the edges and then layered it with Do Crafts paper and green card.  The little sentiment is from Craftwork Cards with some black peel off dots added.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - 'pesky critters'

A Little Bit of Me Time ....

I have used any of my Greetings Farm stamps for a little while so yesterday I used the 'Me Time Anya' set to make some ATCs for a swap.  I love these little characters and the other bits and pieces on the stamp sheet and they're the perfect size for ATCs. The paper I've used is from Do Crafts and (although you can't really see them on the photo) I used pale pink pearls to finish off the ATCs.

I'd like to enter these in the current challenge at Divas By Design which is 'anything but a card' - hope ATCs count for this!

Christmas Flowers

I haven't made any Christmas cards for a few weeks but when I spotted a 'Christmas Flowers' challenge I thought of this stamp straight away.  It's one of the 'All Set for Christmas' stamps from Little Claire Designs and is one of my favourites.  The green paper is from a Dovecraft pack and I've used a Personal Impressions greeting and some red nail head gems to finish it.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Winter Wonderland - 'Christmas flowers'
Crafty Ann's Challenge - 'Christmas in June'

Rainbow Chloe

This is one of the newest stamp designs from Pink Gem called 'Rainbow Chloe' - I couldn't resist it when I saw it previewed on the blog recently! The papers I've used are from a pad that came free with one of the magazines recently - I thought these pastel ones went perfectly with the image.  I added a Cuttlebugged panel (swiss dots folder) across the middle of the card and added some punched flowers.  The card blank is from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Lexi's Creations - 'no sentiment'
Anything Goes Challenge - 'here comes summer'

Tiny Tiddler ....

This is a Sugar Nellie stamps called 'Tiny Tiddler' that I've had for a few months but have only just got round to using for the first time!  I've used some Do Crafts dotty paper with it and have also used some blue Bazzill card which I put through my swiss dots Cuttlebug folder to create the panel to the side of the image.  The little sentiment and the white card candy are from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Sweet Stamps - 'embossing'
A Spoonful of Sugar - 'splish splash'

Happy Fathers Day

This is the card I've made for my Dad for Fathers Day this weekend.  It's my first attempt at a double easel card and I've used decoupage on the two main panels.  Both images are from a pack I bought from Card Craft Plus - my Dad loves ties so they were both very appropriate!  I used papers from a Do Crafts pad, two black buttons and computer generated sentiment to finish it off.

Here are the two main panels:

And here's a close up of the base:

Less is More - In the Frame

Better late than never!  I finally managed to put a card together for the current challenge on the Less is More blog - a one layer card with the theme 'in the frame'.  After a bit of thinking and rearranging I created a frame using a mask die cut from two nested shapes - I applied ink direct to the card blank to create the 'frame'.  The stamp I used is 'Spikey Flowers' from Little Claire Designs.  I'd also like to enter the card in the current challenge on Paper Pretties which is also to create a one layer card.

Decoupaged Single Flower

Here's another quick card made with the 'Single Flower' stamp from Little Claire Designs.  On this one, I stamped the flower head again, cut it out and then decoupaged it with some foam pads to add depth to the image.  I've used some green gingham from Craft Creations (just for a change!), some pink pearls and one of the little message tags from Craftwork Cards.  I added a little black peel off dot to the message tag to finish it.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Totally Gorjuss - 'flower power'
Charisma Cardz - 'pink and green'

Fancy Marci Again

Here's another card made with the 'Fancy Marci' stamp from La La Land Crafts - she's been coloured with Promarkers and then layered on to pink and brown card.  The background paper is from Doodlebug and I've added another strip of brown card punched on each side with one of my Martha Stewart punches.  Down the middle of the punched strip, I've added some pink ribbon and pearls, put a pearl at each corner of the image and then added a ticket sentiment from Tim Holtz.  The base card is from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers - 'pink and brown'

Crafty Individuals Workshop

Today I've been to a fabulous workshop with Crafty Individuals - a lovely relaxing day with lots of lovely products and goodies to play with!

We did three projects during the day and you can the first - a pendant - in the photo above.  For my image I chose a Paris collage print - the print is domino shaped so it was perfect to fit in the pendant frame.
Our next project was a decorated tag.  Crafty Individuals sell gorgeous pre-printed tags and I have to say that at first, I didn't really want to decorate mine because it looked so good as it was!  However, I did enjoy putting it together - the main image is part of a stamped image and I've used a small bird (coloured and stamped) some flowers, lace and a brad.  We made a little stand so the tag can be displayed on a shelf.
And finally, my favourite project of the day, a decorated frame.  The frame is covered in some of the Crafty Individuals paper and then decorated with flowers and pearls.  The image was punched with a circle punch and then I added some more pearls around it on the pink card.  The little circular piece on the right says 'Treasured Memories' - I bought the set which includes this one (together with a few other items!!)

It was a great, very relaxed day!

I'd like to enter the frame in the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - 'anything goes'
Moving Along With the Times - 'anything but a card'

Made for Men ....

With Father's Day coming up soon, there are lots of challenges based around men's cards and designs at the moment.  So here are two cards I've made with two of the images from the Little Claire Designs 'Made for Men' set which is available here.  For this first one I simply stamped the book and shoe images twice and then added the 'with best wishes' sentiment between the two lines of images.  The striped paper is from a DoCraft pad and I've added some darker brown plain paper, some brown ribbon and some punched dots.
This second card uses one of each the images, die cut into a circle and the second sentiment in the set, 'happy birthday to you'.  The paper I've used on this card is a sheet from one of my paper boxes but there's no name on the back of it - close up it looks quite textured.  I've added three large black nailhead gems and inked the outside of each of the circles.

The finishing touch on each card is some Glossy Accents on the glasses - not that easy to see in the photos but much better 'in the real'.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Easy Craft Projects - 'for Dad'
Here Come the Boys - Fathers Day
Lexi's Creations - 'Fathers Day or a man's card
The Stamp Man - 'Boys and Men'
The Stamping Boutique - 'for men only'
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges - 'magnificent men'

This is another card made with the Little Claire Designs 'Single Flower' stamp which I really love.  I've used a Craftwork Cards scalloped card blank and some dotty lilac card from Kanban as my base and then stamped the image twice, matting on to purple and black paper.  To finish, I've added a stamped sentiment, some black and white gingham ribbon and some little black peel off dots.

Crafty Purple Frog - 'things of beauty' (second entry)
Divas by Design - 'florals' (second entry)

Fun at Fairy Knoll - 'birthday'
Craft Your Passion - 'anything goes'

Chloe

This card is based on one of the cards in the most recent issue of 'Quick Cards Made Easy' - I adjusted the measurements a bit because my die cuts were slightly smaller but the principle is the same.  The image panel is cut separately using three sizes of the same shaped die cut and then attached to the base which is simply folded at different intervals.  You can see that more clearly in this side view:
The image I've used is one of the very cute Chloe stamps from Pink Gem Designs and the sentiment is also one of theirs.  Here's a close up of the main image:
The paper I've used is (yes, you've guessed it!!) pale green gignham from Craft Creations and I also used some pink and white card, a flower punch, some pink pearls and white Card Candy from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

By the Cute and Girly - 'in the garden'
Corrosive Challenge Blog - 'summer colours'
Paper Sundaes - 'let's get sentimental'

A Cup of Coffee and a Cake .....

This week's theme at Less is More is 'monochrome' and I decided on a black and white colour scheme which gave me the perfect opportunity to use this beautiful stamp I bought recently at a Dimension Fourth workshop.  I've used shades of grey to highlight the image - you can see it more clearly on the close up below:
To finish the card I added some black gems and also black paper round the image.

Teddy Bea - Wish Upon a Star

It's been another very hot day here today - too hot for me I'm afraid so I've been inside making some cards!  This is an easel card made with the 'Wish Upon a Star' Teddy Bea digi-stamp - the first card I've made using this image.  I've used papers from Craft Creations and Pink Petticoat and the little sentiment is from a Craftwork Cards pack.  I've added Stickles to the bear's wings, her star and also on the Card Candy that I've used around the base of the easel.  Hopefully you can see it better on this photo:

Summer Sun .....

This card was made using one of the new brown and gold peel off designs from Little Claire Designs, some pink and brown card and a strip of paper from Do Crafts.  The little clouds and birds come separately on the same sheet so I used them to build up more of a scene.  The sentiment is very appropriate for today because it's amazingly warm here!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Papercutz - 'beach or travel theme

Another Clean and Simple Card ...

Here's another CAS card made with the 'Single Flower' stamp from Little Claire Designs.  For this card, I've used part of the design so I could fit it into a square panel.  The stamped image is coloured with Promarkers and then layered on to some lilac card - I also edged the lilac card with my pear green Promarker to give some more depth to it.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

New for this Month from Little Claire Designs ...

The June club set from Little Claire Designs is now on their website here and this month it's a floral set - a large gerbera flower, a smaller collection of flowers and two sentiments.  My first card was made with the main image and one of the sentiments 'from me ... to you'.  The paper I've used is from the Dovecraft 'Sugar and Spice' pack which is available here and I've also used some pink card.

My second card is made with the smaller group of flowers and the second sentiment which is 'nature nurture love'.  For this card, the paper I've used is from the 'Hideaway' pad which is available here and I've also used some pale green card.

Finally, I also made this very simple card using the main image stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with detail clear EP.  I think swiped a pink metallic ink pad over the top and matted the image on to white and then black card.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Craft Room Challenge - 'anything goes'
A Spoonful of Sugar - 'flower power'
Divas by Design - 'floral'
