To create the background for my card I used the Mid Century Modern stencil from Uniko with Distress Ink.

New from KLM Designs - Decorative Egg


Today I'm sharing another card made with one of this month's new release images from KLM Digital Designs and this one is called Decorative Egg.

You can find the image here in the outline shop.

I also used one of the sentiments which comes with the main image.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used papers from Dovecraft and Stampin' Up.

The ribbon I've used is from my stash and the green card from Stampin' Up.

New from All Dressed Up Stamps - Spring Has Sprung and Love You Mum


Today I'm sharing my DT cards using two of this month's new release images from All Dressed Up Stamps.

Today I'm sharing a GDT card for Twinkle Lane Designs using the beautiful new 'Single Sunflower' digi stamp:

New from KLM Designs - Egg Painter


I'm back today with a card made with another of this month's new release images from KLM Digital Designs.

This is 'Egg Painter' and you can find him here in the online shop.

I also used one of the sentiments which comes with the image.

The image was coloured with Promarkers and I die cut it with a Stampin' Up scalloped die.  The patterned papers I've used are from Craft Creations and Stampin' Up.

I created the 'off the edge' part of my card using a die from Stampin' Up which I cut out in black and silver, layering them together with the silver die cut dropped just below the black one.

We've reached the midway point in our current challenge on the Ike's World Challenge Blog - it's anything goes with the option to go outside your comfort zone!

I've gone outside my comfort zone by water colouring my image!  I used water colour pens scribbled on an acrylic block with a waterbrush.  It took me a long time to do but I was pleased with the results in the end!

The image I've used is called Hydrangea and you can find it here in the Ike's Art store.

I added some card from Paper Box as my backing and some little black gems to finish the card.

New from KLM Digital Designs - Bunny and Butterfly


Today I'm sharing a card showcasing one of this month's new releases from KLM Digital Designs - meet Bunny and Butterfly.

New Perfectly CAS Challenge - Die Cuts


This month on the Perfectly CAS Challenge we want to see your card using die cuts.

I used the Perky Poppy die from Memory Box cutting it twice, once in black and one in red.  I used the black outline and filled in the outline with red.

I stamped the sentiment using a Stampin' Up stamp.

To make my card I've used one of the toppers and two of the papers from the latest issue of Making Cards magazine.

I die cut the topper with a Stampin Up die and then drew around the outside of the die on the darker green paper and cut out a mat for my image.

The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin' Up and I finished the card with three black gems.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then added a strip of patterned paper from Stampin' Up across the top of the image panel.  I added some faux stitching to the patterned paper and an outline sticker sentiment.
