New Sparkles Challenge - Use a Stencil

 


We've got a new challenge today on the Sparkles Challenge Blog and this time we'd like you to use a stencil on your cards.

To make my card I used the Scandi Snowflakes stencil from Funky Fossil Designs - you can find it here on their website.

I used three Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Salty Ocean.  

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Funky Fossil Festive Phrases stamp set available here stamped with Salty Ocean.  I used the same ink pad to ink the edges of a piece of white card for my background layer.

Finally I added some blue gems to the middle of the stencilled snowflakes.

New My Time to Craft Challenge - Good Luck

To make my card I created my own background paper using the shamrock stamp from the Amazing Life stamp set from Stampin' Up.  I stamped them in Stampin' Up Mossy Meadow ink and then coloured them with Promarkers.

The sentiment is from the same set and I also used Mossy Meadow card stock and some thin ribbon from my stash.

New Alphabet Challenge - P is for Party (We Are Ten Years Old!)

 


We're having a celebration on the Alphabet Challenge Blog because we're ten years old!

To make my card I used the Bonanza Buddies stamp set from Stampin' Up, the coordinating dies and the patterned paper too.

I stamped the animals on to circles of white card and added die cut hats to each one.

The fourth circle is one of the sentiments, a stamped parcel and stamped ribbon!

Today I'm sharing my GDT card for the latest Use Your Stuff Challenge and this time we want to see cards featuring stripes.

To make my card I used one of the very cute stamps from the Clearly Besotted Christmas Plushies stamp set and a sentiment from Stampin' Up.


I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and then die cut it with a circle die.

I used Mossy Meadow card from Stampin' Up for my circle layer and a Stampin' Up embossing folder on my base card for my stripes.
