More GDT Cards for New Release from Sum More Fun

 

I'm back with more GDT cards using the new release from Sum More Fun:

For the first of my cards today (above) I've used one of the designs from the Nailed It set and two of the patterned papers.

And here's my second GDT card for today:

This one is also from the Nailed It set.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and layered up my cards with kraft, black and silver paper.

GDT Cards for New Release from Sum More Fun

This image is also from the Handy Man set and this time I've used two of the patterned papers.

In both cases, the images were coloured with Promarkers and layered with kraft paper.  The dies I've used are from Stampin' Up.

New Alphabet Challenge - N is for Navy Blue

 

We've got a new challenge today on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and this time it's N is for navy blue.

I've made a very simple Christmas card using some navy blue snowflake patterned paper from Craft Creations.

The die I used is from Crafters Companion - it was a magazine giveaway a few years back and has always been a favourite of mine.  I die cut the shadow from white card and the words from pale blue card in contrast to the backing paper.

I layered the card with matching pale blue and white card and then added some randomly placed clear gems to finish the card.

New Colour Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes

I have to admit this one had me puzzled for a little while!  I looked through my patterned paper and found two sheets of Stampin' Up paper from a paper share.  Not colours I normally use but I thought they fitted the theme!

I used the 'happy' die and the 'birthday' stamp from Uniko's Big and Bold Happy Clear set and layered it all with black paper to make the colours pop.

To make my card I used the Love of Leaves stamp set from Stampin' Up and the coordinating dies.  There are dies to cut out the stamped leaves and you also get the border die which I've used down the right hand side of my card.

My card base is crumb cake card from Stampin' Up and the patterned paper is also one of theirs.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

GDT Card for Use Your Stuff Challenge - Nautical

 

I'm back today with another GDT card for the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog - today's new theme is nautical.

I used my Sailing Home stamp set from Stampin' Up together with some of the patterned paper from the suite.  The anchor was die cut with one of the coordinating dies.

I stamped everything in navy blue ink and layered with navy and white card.

I thought the sentiment was appropriate in the current situation.

To make my card I used the Coming Home stamp set from Stampin' Up together with some of the patterned paper which coordinates with the stamps and the dies.

I die cut the panel using a Stampin' Up die from white card and added the snow from the stamp set.  The building and the two trees were die cut from a piece of the patterned paper and I then stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas set.

The backing paper comes from the same set and I layered it with red paper.

New Mix It Up Challenge - Anything Goes/Distressing

 

It's the beginning of the month so that means a new challenge on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.

This month it's anything goes with the option to use distressing on your creation.  For all the details and to see the cards from the rest of the Design Team, head over to the challenge blog here.

As I never have much success with distressing techniques, I've opted for the anything goes theme this month and made a single layer card instead.

I used a stamp set from Stampin' Up called Inspiring Iris and Mossy Meadow and Gorgeous Grape ink pads.  

I kept the card very simple, just adding some gems to finish it.

I layered them up with green Stampin' Up card and used a stamped sentiment also from Stampin' Up.

New Love to Scrap Challenge - Fall Back

 

There's a new challenge today on the Love to Scrap Challenge Blog and this month our theme is 'fall back'.

To make my card I used the Love of Leaves stamp set and coordinating dies from Stampin' Up.

I started by die cutting an aperture in a piece of card using a die from Stampin' Up and then using them as a reverse mask with Distress Inks.  Then I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set to the right of the panel using Soft Suede Stampin' Up ink.

Then I stamped and die cut three leaves using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso inks.

I finished the card by layering with card from Craft Creations.

It's the start of October (really?!) so that means a new challenge on Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge Blog.

Challenges are always anything goes as long as you use patterned paper on your creation.

To make my card, I recycled one of last year's Christmas cards!

I added some red foil card stock as a mat for the image and a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up again matted with red foil card.

I finished the design by adding some glitter glue.
