GDT Card for Make the Cards Challenge - Use Two Patterned Papers

I'm back again as a Guest Designer for the Make the Cards Challenge and today's new challenge is:

You can find more details about the challenge and see the cards from the Design Team here on the challenge blog.

I always end up with lots of small pieces of patterned paper after cutting 6 by 6 pieces for card fronts so I decided to use two of the left over strips to make my card. I cut the paper into one inch squares and glued them on to a piece of white card.

The papers are from Stampin' Up and I used Mossy Meadow card stock as my layer together with a die and stamped sentiment all from Stampin' Up.

Here's another view of my card:

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Seize the Birthday - anything goes
SUO Challenges - birthday

  6. The first thing I thought when I looked at this card was "what a pretty quilt." I think my quilter friends would love to receive a birthday card like this.
