New SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge - Die Cuts and Punches


Today I'm joining the team on the SheepSki Designs blog challenge for our new September Challenge and we're asking you to use:

I used two stitched rectangle dies - one to cut out the image and one to cut out the dark brown layer.  I also used two punches to make the little flower in the top left hand corner of the image panel.

New Mix It Up Challenge Blog - Anything Goes/3D Project


There's a new challenge today on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog and this month it's anything goes with the option to make a 3D project.

I decided to make a little box for my DT project.  It's made from red card decorated with paper from Craft Creations and would be perfect for sweets, some soap or any other small gift.

I created a background with Distress Inks and water and then stamped in Distress Ink and then black ink, adding a sentiment and layering with black paper.

New My Time to Craft Challenge - Fantasy

My card is one that I made a few weeks ago at a workshop with Lavinia Stamps.  We had an amazing day making backgrounds and stamping.  All I did at home to finish this off is to mat the image layer on to white and black card and add some gems.

The sentiment stamp I've used is called 'Fairy Dust is Like Love' and is available here on the Lavinia Stamps website.

The main image I've used is called 'See is Believing' and is available here.

This is one of the cards I made for the last TV show.
