Guest Designer for Make the Cards Challenge - Colour Challenge

 

I'm back today with my second Guest Designer card for the Make the Cards Challenge.Blog.

And this week it's a colour challenge:

To make my card I started with some patterned paper from Stampin' Up which I cut into panels and then matted on to white card and then Mossy Meadow card also from Stampin' Up.

I stamped my sentiment from the Stampin' Up 'Pretty Perennials' stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink and then die cut the stamped sentiment with a scalloped die also from Stampin' Up.

I layered with white card to make the image pop and also used some blue card from Craft Creations to make my card base.

The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up stamp set 'A Good Man'.

I made a mini slimline card using a circle punch and papes from Stampin' Up and Anna Marie Designs.

I added a strip of the paper from Anna Marie Designs down the left hand side of the card and a stamped sentiment from Stampin' Up to finish the card.

I decided to follow the optional twist and kept my card very clean and simple.

I've used one of Andrea's newest digi stamps, the beautiful 'Gerbera Daisy' which is available here in the SheepSki Designs Etsy shop.
