New Little Claire Challenge - A Sketch Plus Autumn Theme


Today we've got a new challenge for you on the Little Claire blog and this month there's a sketch to follow plus we'd like to see cards with an autumn theme.

Here's the sketch:


As you can see, I've left off the bow (my bows just never look right!) and replaced the three flowers with a sentiment.

Wednesday Night Craft Club - Deck the Halls


This is another card I designed for the Wednesday nigh craft club I go to - another quick and simple Christmas card for us to make.

I used an old wood mounted Stampendous stamp called 'Deck the Halls' and a snowflake Cuttlebug folder for the background.  I've finished the card with some ribbon and red gems.

Wednesday Night Craft Club


Once a month I go to a craft club on a Wednesday night and this month I was asked to design some Christmas cards for everyone to make.  Here's the first of my designs using an old favourite stamp from Little Claire called 'No Peeking Now' - you can find it here on the Little Claire website.  I'll have a couple more of the things we made to share next week.

I embossed the white card using my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and then added some twine, red paper and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Feeding the Birds Again!


Today I'm sharing the second card that I made with the new Little Claire Club stamp set 'Feed the Birds' -  you can find the set here on the website.  For this card I've used the calendar image, the floral corner stamped twice and the smaller sentiment stamped twice.

New from Little Claire - September Club Stamp Set


New from Little Claire this month for club members is the gorgeous Christmas stamp set 'Feed the Birds'.  Here's what the set looks like:


You can find the set here on the Little Claire website together with details of the monthly club and all the benefits on offer to members.

This month it was my turn to design the club card and I chose to make a tag card using two of the main images and one of the sentiments - I split one of the main images so it fitted on two of the tag panels.  I've also used kraft paper and holly patterned paper available from Little Claire here and here plus some sheer white ribbon which I've coloured with a Cardinal Red Promarker.

New from Little Claire - Christmas Postcards


 New today from Little Claire is the 'Christmas Postcards' sentiment set - a great range of Christmas messages on little postcards.  You can find the set here on the Little Claire website and here's what the set looks like:


They're great for adding a sentiment to the inside or outside of cards and they make perfect little 'stoppers' for easel cards too.

I've made a tag card using four of the postcards and also the very cute 'Row of Robins' stamp from the Little Claire Dinkies range which you can find here on the website.  The tag card I've used is available here on the website.

Another great stamp set has just been released by Little Claire and this time it's the great 'Manphabet' set - an alphabet and numbers set for men's cards!  A great idea for personalising cards or using as the main focus of a design.

New Little Claire Christmas Die Cut Sheet - Part 2


This is the second card I've made using one of the images on the new Little Claire Die Cut Sheet which has Christmas designs on it - you can find the sheet here on the Little Claire website.

I used the 'Stocking Owls' image which I die cut using a Spellbinders round die and I then built up with layers of paper on to a Craftwork Cards card blank.  The papers I've used are from the gorgeous Nordic Christmas pack which you can find here on the Little Claire website.

Look Who's Back .....!!


Look who's back on the Little Claire website - the gorgeous 'Star of Wonder' stamp featuring two cute polar bears!!  It's been one of my all time favourite Little Claire Christmas stamps - I was so pleased when Gill decided to release the design again.
