This is my card for the current challenge on the Less is More challenge blog which is 'one layer - off the edge', certainly not as easy as you might think! It's probably the first time I've ever stamped direct on to a card blank - I always put at least one two layers on my cards, one of which would be a piece of card with my stamped image on it! My card was made using one of the images from 'The Flourishes Pack' by Inkadinkado - it's the same image stamped three times. I didn't add a sentiment because I was concered it wouldn't be 'balanced' - I don't do 'random'!
I'd also like to enter the card in two other challenges:
Paper Sundaes - 'keep it simple'
One Stop Craft Challenge - 'clean and simple'
Hi Helen,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stepping out of your comfort zone for this challenge!
That first stamp direct onto a card blank is really scary isn't it! It's not that long since I first began doing this kind of card and there's a lot to consider before actually putting stamp to paper.
This is great however and no-one would have guessed that it was a first for you!
I love the colours you have chosen!
We have a OLC once per month so you'll have to steel yourself for the next one!
Thanks so much for your submission and we'll see you next time!
Chrissie

What a pretty stamp and you've coloured it beautifully. It is scary stamping straight onto your card base but hey! What's the worst that could happen?!!
