To make my cards I used the 'Quiet Curiosity' kit from Awkward Annies available here at CraftsUprint.

The kit has card bases, images, sentiments and accents to fussy cut and it made two very cute cards!

I created my background using the Lots of Love stencil from Heffy Doodle - I used Stampin' Up Flirty Flamingo ink on white card and on pink card.  I die cut a heart from the pink layer using an X-Cut die and then drew round the die to create the black layer.

The topper I've used is from the 'Lovely' Papercraft Collection from Relatively Thoughtful - it's available as a paper collection here and as a digital download here.

To make my card I used the beautiful 'Swan Lake Collection' by Sharon Callis from the Crafty Witches.

You can find the collection here.

I used one of the toppers and a piece of the coordinating backing paper.  I also used oval dies from Spellbinders and black and silver paper from my stash.

I can't believe it's nearly the end of January already!  The 25th of the month means that it's time for the January Rudolph Days Challenge:

To make my card I used a new to me wood block stamp from Personal Impressions which doesn't actually have a name on it!

I stamped it with Memento ink and coloured with Promarkers.  The die I used is from Crafters Companion and I also used a sentiment label from Funky Fossil Designs.

As You Like It Challenge - favourite occasion (got to be Christmas!  I love making Christmas cards all year round plus it means December is never stressful!)

New Cut It Up Challenge - My Heart

 


We're back today on the Cut It Up Challenge Blog with a new challenge:


This time our theme is 'my heart' - don't forget you must use at least one die cut on your design.  For more details about the challenge and to see the cards from the rest of the team, head over to the challenge blog here.

To make my card I used a set of nesting heart dies from X-Cut.  I used the largest die to create the easel card base and then the other dies to cut layers of papers and images and finally the smallest die to cut one of the solid papers for the stopper.

The papers and topper I used are from the 'Lovely' Papercraft Collection from Relatively Thoughtful - it's available as a paper collection here and as a digital download here.
