New from Little Claire - Georgina's Rosettes

I'm back today with some cards made from the third new stamp set which has just been released by Little Claire - this one is 'Georgina's Rosettes'.  You get various different rosettes and sentiments but the other great thing about the set is that you can use them with any of the other Little Claire circle sentiment stamps or die cuts.  The set is here on the website and there's also a gallery with lots of inspiration.

For my first card (above) stamped one of the rosette heads and the ribbon tail on to patterned paper using black Versafine ink and then cut them out.  I also used one of the circular sentiments from the set again stamped with Versafine on to white card and cut out.  You can't see it properly on the photo but I then used Glamour Dust in the outside circle of the sentiment with a Quickie Glue Pen.  I've layered the card with kraft and paper to match the rosette.

For my next card I used a different rosette head and this time scored and folded it to give dimension.  My sentiment is from the 'Save the Date' set and this time I attached the stamped tail with little foam pads to give it some depth.  The paper I've used is from a Trimcraft pad.

Finally, I made a Christmas card which shows that you don't have to use the set as rosettes - I layered up two sizes of the rosette heads using foam pads to make a topper finishing it with a sentiment from the 'Christmas Sentiments' set.  The paper I've used is from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas Modern pack.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Happy Campers Craft Collective - 'pink and brown' (first card)
Moving Along With the Times - 'seeing red' (third card)
Cute Card Thursday - 'letters and numbers'
Southern Girls Challenge - 'spots and/or stripes' (second card)

New from Little Claire - Baby Changing Tree

Two new stamp sets plus a very cute stamp design have just been added to the Little Claire website and over the next week I'll be sharing the cards I've made with all three.

I'm starting with the latest addition to the 'Changing Tree' collection the very cute and useful baby embellishments.  There are six different embellishment stamps in the set and it's available here on the website for £3.99.  If you haven't bought the tree before (the same tree base stamp works with all the sets of embellishments) then have a look here for the original set or here for the Christmas version.  If you're a club member make sure you have a look at your latest newsletter for a special offer on this set!!

I've used the embellishment stamps to build up the tree and also to make a separate strip down the side of the card.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and I've also use some silver peel off strips either side of the embellishment strip.

Here's another card made with the set:

On this card I've also used 'Georgina's Buttons and Stitching Stamp Set' which is available here on the website.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Crafts and Me Challenges - 'favourite colour' (second card - pink)

Little Claire September Club Stamp 'The Magic of Christmas' - Part 1

The new September club stamp set has just been added to the Little Claire website and this month it's a great set called 'The Magic of Christmas' with several images and sentiments - plenty to work with for Christmas cards.  You can it here on the website - have a look at the great gallery for lots of ideas from my fellow Design Team members.

My first card (above) is this month's club card so club members will be getting the materials and instructions to make the card.  It's simply a square card with the top flap cut in two and then a thin strip cut out of the middle to form the two parts of the easel.  The door is one of the stamps in the set and you also get a line of three geese complete with scarves and wellies.  I cut out one of the geese and put him on the door step on the taller panel and used the other two on the other panel.

The circular sentiment is part of the set and you also get two other sentiments which you can see at the bottom of the two panels.

My second card is a very simple one - I've stamped the line of geese twice and then repeat stamped one of the sentiments underneath.

I'll be back tomorrow with two more cards made from the set.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Crafts 4 Eternity - 'less is more' (second card)
