To make my card I used a piece of black card stock and the Pierced Blooms dies from Stampin' Up with some scraps of white card.

The die cut 'celebrate' is from Stamping Bella and I finished the larger flowers with some black sparkle self adhesive dots.

Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Reminder - Patterned Paper

 

We've reached the midway point in our current challenge on the Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Blog:

To make my card I've used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up called 'Jingle Jingle Jingle'.

I used some scraps of Stampin' Up papers to make my background and then die cut a scalloped stitched panel to go on top.  

I stamped the 'tis the season' in Mossy Meadow and die cut it with a banner die and then stamped the 'jolly' underneath in black ink.  Then I stamped the 'jolly' again on patterned paper, cut the letters out and stuck them onto the die cut panel.

I finished the panel with some Card Candy.

To make my card I started by using reverse masking to create a circle of Salty Ocean Distress Ink with my blending brush and a panel cut using a circle die.

Then I stamped the ship, sentiment and birds stamps from the Stampin' Up 'Sailing Home' stamp set before using a white chalk marker to add some accents.

I was inspired by the beach, the water and the blue and yellow colours.

To make my card I've used my new 'Hippest Hippos' stamp and die sets from Stampin' Up,  I created a little scene for my snorkelling hippo using the wave die from the set, a scrap piece of yellow patterned paper and the cloud card from Limetree Crafts.  If you look carefully you will also see the water splash die from the set.

I coloured the Hippos using Promarkers and the sentiment I've used is from Itty Bitty Birthdays.
