Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Reminder - Black and White Plus One

 

We've reached the midway point in our current challenge on the Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Blog - we want you to use black and white plus one more colour.

I've gone for black and white plus silver which is one of my favourite Christmas colour combinations.

I used the 'Joyful Nativity' stamp set from Stampin' Up stamped in black Versafine.

I layered the design with black and silver paper.

To make my card I used a topper and some backing paper from the latest issue of Making Cards & Papercraft magazine.

I die cut the topper using a stitched scalloped die from Stampin' Up and then added a stamped sentiment also from Stampin' Up.  

I also cut a piece of the matching backing paper and layered the design with red card.

New From All Dressed Up Stamps - Pumpkin Cutie

 

Today I'm sharing my DT card for All Dressed Up Stamps using one of this month's new release images.

I've used the very cute 'Pumpkin Cutie' digi stamp which you can find here in the Etsy shop.

Cute as a Button October Inspiration Card - Christmas Giraffe

 

Today I'm sharing my first card on the Cute as a Button Inspiration Showcase.

As soon as I saw this 'Christmas Giraffe' image I just couldn't resist it!  

You can find the image here.  I coloured it with Promarkers and then die cut the image with a stitched scaloped die from Stampin' Up.

I used Mossy Meadow cardstock and patterned paper from Stampin' Up and finish the card with Card Candi and gems.

My card base and other card is from Craft Creations.

We've reached the letter O at the Alphabet Challenge - it was my turn to choose the theme so I decided on O is for outdoors.

I've made another card using the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set from Stampin' Up.  It's a two step stamp - I stamped the outline in Early Espresso and then the filler stamp in Crumb Cake ink.

Then I added the branch and the leaves - you stamp the leaf and then the veins separately.

The sentiment is from the stamp set and I used the stitched scalloped die and some patterned paper from Stampin' Up.

The base card and dark brown layer are from Craft Creations.

To make my card I used a Stampin' Up stamp set that I've had for a little while but not used before.  I'ts called 'Nuts About Squirrels' and has two steps to it - the outline and then the filler.

I stamped the outline of the squirrel in Early Espresso ink and then the filler in Soft Suede - it took a bit of matching up and this was my second attempt as the first one was a bit off.

I added a sentiment from the set and then die cut the panel with a Stampin' Up die.  The background paper I've used is also from Stampin' Up.

Marvellous Mini Masterpieces Facebook Challenge for October

 

Today it's my turn to share my DT project for this month's Marvellous Mini Masterpieces Challenge.

Each month we give you an inspiration picture and ask you to make something no bigger than 4 by 5 inches.

I started by applying Antique Linen Distress Ink to white card using a blending brush.

The I used the colours from the photo to stamp leaveas from the Stampin' Up Love of Leaves stamp set.

To make my card I used the Tag Buffet kit from Stampin' Up - I trimmed the top of one of the holly tags to create a panel and used one of the die cut stockings.  I stamped a sentiment from the 'Holly Jolly Wishes' on one of the sentiment strips from the kit using Real Red ink.

I finished the card with some patterned paper also from Stampin' Up and two red gems.
