New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Something Beginning With T


We've got a new challenge on the Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge Blog and this week we want to see 'something beginning with T'.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.
I've gone for a clean and simple design - in my case T is for ties!  The stamp I've used is part of the 'Oh Man' set from LC Designs which you can find here on their website.
I coloured the stamped design with Promarkers, added a sentiment (also from LC Designs) and then just layered it on to blue card.

GDT Card - Christmas WIth the Cuties - Anything Cute and Christmassy Goes


The first challenge has just been launched on the new Christmas With the Cuties Challenge and I am honoured to have been invited to join them as a GDT!

For my card I've used a digi stamp from Pink Gem Designs called 'Skiing Jingles'.  I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used some paper from Die Cuts With a View.  The sentiment I've used is from Craftwork Cards.

The Digi Bells Guest-DT Call - Anything Goes Christmas


There's a Guest-DT call at the moment on The Digi Bells Design Team Blog and this is my entry.  I've been aware of Elisabeth Bell's stamps for many years and then became aware of her digital images recently when she sponsored once of the challenge blogs I design for.  If you have a look here at the digital collection, you will find a gorgeous collection of images.

For my card I've used a digi called 'Snowbaby Peek-a-Boo' which is here.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used some brand new paper from a pad I bought in The Range over the weekend.  I've also added some punched snowflakes, red gems and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Vintage Christmas


The theme for the current challenge on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge Blog is 'vintage Christmas' - all the details are in the challenge post here.

I've used a stamp from a sheet by The Stamp Man - it's an old sheet and unfortunately I don't have the name of it on the carrier sheet I've kept with the stamps.

I created the background using Distress Inks and some Galaxy Gold Brilliance Ink to give it some sparkle - you can see the sparkle more in real life!  I blended the inks to leave a lighter patch in the middle of the card and then stamped using brown Memento Ink.

I've finished the cards using some gems.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Whatever the Weather

My card is one that I designed for my LC Designs class last weekend.  It's a shaped card using the very cute Dinkies 'Up, Up and Away' stamp which you can find here on the LC Designs website.

I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and decoupaged the three balloons.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and the clouds are from a die set from Joy Craft.

I'm sharing a post-it note pad that I made at the monthly stamp club I go to.  It's a great design and I was really pleased with the way the inside looks:

New Cutie Pies Challenge - No Designer Papers

For my card I've used a digi stamp from 2 Cute Ink called 'Winter Cardinal' - you can find it here on their website.

I coloured the digi with Promarkers and added a sentiment from LC Designs. There's also a little bit of glitter glue on the snow on the branch.  I embossed the white card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added some pearls to the embossed snowflakes.  Finally I added some ribbon and red gems and layered with red paper.
