New from Little Claire - Pop Up Box Cards


Brand new on the Little Claire website are these great pre-cut and pre-scored pop up box cards - so easy to use!  They are here on the website.

I've posted a quick photo tutorial on the Little Claire blog here to show you how to assemble the cards.  

For my version I've used two of the stamps from the 'Lovely Hedgehogs' set which is here and one of the 'Dictionary Definitions' set is here.  The paper I've used is from the 'Mini Quirky Quilts' paper papck which is here.

New Alphabet Challenge - L is for Lavender

Some of the Design Team have made cards depicting the lavender flower but I've gone for the colour instead.  I've used the 'Friendship Butterfly' stamp from Little Claire which you can find here on their website.  The verse comes with the stamp.

GDT Tutorial for Crafty Sentiments Designs - Taking Pictures Easel Card


Today I'm sharing my first monthly tutorial as a GDT member of the Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration Blog Team.  You can find my photo tutorial here on the Inspiration Blog.

I've made an easel card using the 'Taking Pictures' stamp which is here on the Crafty Sentiments website.  It's a slight variation on the traditional easel card and is very easy to make.

I've used a piece of a map as my paper on the base of the card and the stopper was stamped from an old PSX stamp.

For me, a Christmas card for a man has to feature one of the digis from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps - a really great and very funny range.  For this card I've used 'Karaoke Claus' which is here on their website.  I've kept the rest of the card very simple - just some tartan paper and four gems.
