Some Exciting News!


I'm very excited to say that I'm now a member of the Design Team for the Buckwells' Crafty Challenge Blog!  A big thank you to Lozzy and the rest of the team for inviting me to join you.

There's a post on the Challenge Blog today here announcing the new Design Team.


Lozzy also runs the wonderful Buckwell Craft Supplies which you can find here - she sells gorgeous ribbons, flowers, pearls, stamps, pens, embossing folders, dies and lots more.

GDT Card for My Time to Craft - Bugs and Insects

Imagine That Digis Friday Inspiration


This is my weekly inspiration card for Imagine That Digis.  I've used one of the images from the beautiful 'Wedding Day' set which you can find here on the Imagine That website.  The sentiment I've used is part of the same set.

I've used some backing paper from Kanban and my new stitched circle dies from Memory Box.

Inky Impressions Inspiration Post - Angelica Crafting


This is my weekly inspiration post for Inky Impressions.  For today's card I've used a digi stamp called 'Angelica Crafting' - you can find her here on the Inky Impressions website.

The paper I've used is from a First Edition pad and I've kept the design of the card very simple because this is such a cute and detailed image.  My sentiment is a peel off and I've finished the card with some Card Candi.

New Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge - Let's Pretend

Today I'm sharing another card made with one of the new digis from Pink Gem.  This one is called 'Bunny With Flowers' - you can find it here on the Pink Gem website.

I've used a green and yellow colour scheme and have punched the border down the side of the card with my Fiskars Threading Water punch.

Somebunny Loves You


There are lots of great new digi products on sale on the Pink Gem website - Janet has designed some really cute digi stamps and kits.

Today I'm sharing a card made with one of the new digi stamps - this is 'Somebunny Loves You' and it's available here on the Pink Gem website.  If you like this little bunny there's also a card topper digi kit here and a printable gift bag here.

I've used my new Memory Box stitched circle dies to die cut the image and also the kraft layer behind.  I've kept the card layout very simple with just some pink gems and die cut corners to finish it.

New Glory of Christmas Challenge - Spots and Stripes

Ice Fishing


I recently spotted the progressive challenge on the Deedee's Digis blog and decided to have a go at entering.

Imagine That Digis - Winter Arabesque Blog Train


In honour of Imagine That Digis by Kris' second anniversary, we invite you all to a special 'Blog Train of Freebies'!  Kris has hopped on board with Pixel Scrapper this month and made up ten 'Winter Arabesque' mini-kits which are perfect for digi-scrapping or for printing out and using in all your paper crafting projects.

GDT Card for Hanna and Friends - Snowmen


This is my second GDT project for the Hanna and Friends Challenge Blog - for the new challenge which has started today, the theme is 'snowman'.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used one of the images from the Little Claire 'Christmas Snowman' stamp set plus one of the sentiments that comes with the set - you can find it here on the Little Claire website.  I've made a little rocker card using kraft paper, red gingham paper and a chain link peel off.

I've made a pen holder by recycling four empty Promarker boxes.  I simply fixed the four boxes together and then covered them in paper.  The digi I used is 'Cherry Blossom Cluster' from A Day for Daisies' - you can find it here on their website.

Make a Wish .....


Last night was the first meeting of the year of the stamping club I belong to and this is the card I took with me to put in the club birthday box.  

I've used a Lili of the Valley stamp called 'Dandelion Clock' and sentiment stamps from Clearly Besotted.  The paper is from my stash (a 12 by 12 sheet with no name on it) and I've added a doily, some pearls and gems.  I've used a circle die and also my corner punch on the paper.

Birthday Surprise!


This is a card I made a few weeks ago for a challenge post which unfortunately didn't go ahead. As the sponsor of the challenge had provided the digi for me to use, I would still like to share the card.

I've used a digi from Sami Stamps called 'Birthday Surprise' and you can find it in the 'birthday and balloons' section of their website here.  I've used my Fiskars 'threading water' punch to create the little scalloped border section.

For my card I've used the kit that was e-mailed to me earlier this month by Dreamees as part of my membership.  I've used the two papers from the download and also the uncoloured version of the hearts digi - I've coloured it with Promarkers.  The sentiment was also part of the download and I've die cut it with one of my X Cut label dies.
