Little Claire Best of 2013 Class - Part 4

Today I'm sharing another card I designed for the Little Claire 'Best of 2013' class a couple of weeks back.

For this card I used a Little Claire tag card which is available here on the Little Claire website.  I've also used the 'Changing Tree' starter set which is available here and the 'Changing Tree Baking' set which is available here.  The great thing about these stamps is that you can design your own tree - the tree base comes in the first pack and then you add the little baking stamps just as you want to.  The sentiment I've used is from the 'Postcard Sentiment' set which is available here.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Crafting from the Heart - 'anything goes'
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog - 'anything goes'
Sister Act Card Challenge - 'anything goes'
Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - 'any sentiment'

Crafts-Too Friday Fifth Friday Focus

Today I'm very excited to be featured on the Crafts-Too Challenge blog for the Fifth Friday Focus!   You can find the post here on the blog.

I've made three different cards using this very cute Marianne Designs Fairy Reindeer stamp - it was perfect to work with because the stamp is very open and also easy to cut out.

For my first card (above) I've paper pieced the reindeer using kraft paper - I coloured the rest of the image (including some parts of the kraft) using Promarkers.  I used a Crafts-Too dot embossing folder for the background.

For this next card (above) I stamped the reindeer three times, coloured the images with Promarkers and then made an easel card with a computer generated 'stopper'.

For my final card (I above) I decoupaged the reindeer and added some punched snowflakes and gems on to the card base.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Fab'n'Funky Challenges - 'cute critters'
Crafting by Designs - 'Christmas or winter' (second card)

Crafts-Too Challenge You - Vintage Christmas Week 3 Twist 2

Today I've got some very exciting news to share - I'm now a member of the Crafts-Too Challenge You Design Team!!

There was a DT call on the blog last month and I was really pleased to be asked to join the team - I'm looking forward to working with everyone and of course lots of great Crafts-Too products.

I've joined the team part way through the month - the theme for November is 'vintage Christmas' and the current twist on the challenge is to make a polychromatic project.  You can find all the details plus the gorgeous work of the other DT members here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used a vintage Christmas image from the Nellie Snellen Christmas Vintage Presents sheet.  I coloured a silver peel off frame with a Cinnamon Promarker and then placed this on a piece of acetate with the image underneath.  I used the Crafts-Too Dot Embossing Folder on the red card and along the bottom of the card the Crafts-Too 'Stocking Surprise' cutting and embossing stencil.  This was cut in green and kraft and then I inlaid the kraft pieces to give the contrast.
