New Inky Impressions Release - Lizzie's Little Bundle of Joy


Today I'm joining the Inky Impressions Design Team to showcase a special new release for Mother's Day - the gorgeous and very cute Lizzie the panda with her little panda baby!  You can find the digi stamp here on the Inky Impressions website.  Have a look here on the challenge blog to see the beautiful cards from the Design Team.

I've used some Craft Creations paper for my card layered with some Bazzill and white card.  I used a heart punch and my Martha Stewart border punch for the little double heart and my single hole punch to add the little dots to the scallops on the bottom of the card.

New from Little Claire - Poppies and Family Ted


There are two great new stamps on the Little Claire website this morning.

First of all, the beautiful 'Poppies' stamp which you can find here.  Perfect for lots of different occasions and a really nice stamp to colour too.  For my card (above) I've used a card blank from Craft Creations and some gingham paper plus a die cut from the Spellbinders Lacey Squares set.

Next there's the very cute 'Family Ted' stamp which you can find here on the website.  To make my card, I stamped the image on to kraft paper, highlighted some parts of it with Promarkers and then cut it out and matted it on to white card.

New Little Claire Die Cuts Part 4

Exciting News!


I'm very excited to be joining the Inky Impressions team this month as a guest design team member!!

I'll be taking part in the challenges during the month starting next week and might also have something extra to share next week too!  There are some gorgeous digis in the Inky Impressions store and I'm luck enough to have been given some to work with.

New Penny's Challenge - Anything Goes


Today we've got another new challenge for you at Penny's Paper-Crafting Challenge Blog and this week our theme is 'anything goes' - a nice and easy one for everyone!

The Design Team were given images from the sponsors to work with and for my card I used 'All Tied Up' from QKR Stampede which you can find here on their website.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and I've layered it with some blue Bazzill and some kraft paper.  I've finished the card with some black self adhesive gems and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

New Little Claire Die Cuts - Part 1



Six brand new die cut sheets have just been added to the Little Claire website and over the next few days I'll be showcasing each of them together with some cards made from the designs.  The die cut sheets are perfect if you love Little Claire stamps but want a quick card - there's no stamping or colouring involved.  Each sheet has six designs and sells for just £1 making them great value - there's also a special offer of any six sheets for £5!

The sheet that I'm showcasing today is called 'Three Geese':

My first card (above) uses the 'Deck the Horns' image with some Dovecraft paper and a sentiment from the 'Sentiments Christmas' set which you can find here on the Little Claire website. 

  
My second card uses the postbox image from the 'Delivering Christmas Wishes' stamp set, another of my favourites.  I've used some paper from Craft Creations and another sentiment from the 'Sentiments Christmas' set.

Nutcrafters Challenge Reminder

A Gem of a Challenge - Distress It


It's time for another new challenge at A Gem of a Challenge and this time our theme is 'distress it'.  Not an easy one for me I have to admit as I do like my cards to be neat and tidy!  You can find all the details about the challenge and see the cards from the rest of the Design Team here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used the new 'Chloe With Balloon' digi stamp which is here on the Pink Gem website.  I also used the 'Wall' digi stamp which you can find here and then merged the two in Word.  I used a tearing ruler (I told you I like neat cards!) round the edge of the image and panel and the pink paper and then added some brown ink.  The heart is a Memory Box die and I've added some pearls and Card Candi to finish.

New Little Claire Classes and 'Owls in the Barn' Part 1

Two new classes have just been added to the Little Claire website - 'Animal Magic' and 'Get Into Shape'.  They're both on Saturday 22 June and I am looking forward to sharing ideas and of course great Little Claire products with everyone!

Today I'm sharing two cards that I designed for the 'Owls in the Barn' class earlier this year.  


This first card was made using a Cottage Cutz owl cutting die.  I inked the edge of the kraft die cut pieces and also emphasised some of the lines using a Promarker.  


Next a card made with the 'Little Owl Family' stamp which you can find here on the Little Claire website.  I decoupaged the two trees and the biggest owls and then added a sentiment from the 'Sunshine Sentiments' set which you can find here.

For my card I've used one of the new digi stamps that will be on sale very soon.  I die cut my base card using two sizes of dies and then used paper from the Riverbank Revels paper pack on the base of the card.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

Card Creations Plus - Flowers in Bloom Day 1


The new Four Day Deal on Create and Craft has just been launched and it's this gorgeous CD rom from Card Creations Plus called 'Flowers in Bloom'.  The CD features a collection of stunning artwork from Jan Harbon - there's something on there suitable for so many occasions.  The other great thing is that the images are sized to match Nestabilities - square, round and all sorts of different shapes.

My first card (above) was made using pink Bazzill.  Here's the inside of the card:
