Patriotic Teddy

I couldn't resist this little guy when I saw him on the Pink Gem website - isn't he cute?!  He's called 'Patriotic Teddy' and is part of their 'Best of British' selection.

I've used papers from two sets which came free with magazines - a selection of the Portobello Road papers and some from the Simply Homemade magazine.  I've also used some red chain style peel offs round the outer blue layer to give some extra definition and a couple of white Card Candi to finish it off.

Fairy Lights

This is a card I was asked to make recently for a dentistry student who has just graduated - I was specifically asked for a pink fairy card and it took me a little while to realise it was the tooth fairy!!

The stamp I used is 'Fairy Lights' from Nutcrafters and the patterned paper is from the the Dovecraft 'Princess Fairytale' pack - I thought it was just right for this image.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and then added my clear Atyou Spica pen over the wings and the star on the wand to give it some sparkle - not easy to see on the photo but I think you can just pick it up.  The little self adhesive sparkly stones are from DoCraft.  Finally, the sentiment is computer generated.

The pink spotty paper is from a pad that came with the latest issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft and I've layered it with some brown paper.  The button is from 'Georgina's Stitching and Buttons Set' from Little Claire and the Card Candi and sentiment from Craftwork Cards.
