More Butterfly Tree Cards

Two more cards today made with the 'Butterfly Tree' from Little Claire Designs - this time using the peel off rather than the stamp that I used before.  Both cards also use glitter sparkle sheets a brand new product which has just gone on the Little Claire website today here - great if you like glitter and sparkle but don't like the mess of using loose glitter!  It's a bit like sticky backed palstic with glitter in it.

For this first card I put the peel off on to white card and then coloured it with Promarkers.  I then put a piece of the glitter sheet over the top and put the whole thing through my Cuttlebug using an oval die cut.  The peel off greeting went on last.

To make the card I used a scalloped card blank, pink and white dotty paper from Craft Creations, some pink and white ribbon and some brown paper.  The little punched dots are made from the brown paper with a tiny little strip of left over glitter sheet over the top.
This second card was made using the same method but this time I've used some pale blue glitter sheet which will be in stock very soon.  The paper is from Craft Creations again and the ribbon from my stash.

And if you want a bit of a laugh, have a look at the Little Claire page on Facebook to see my card making video debut making the first card in this post!!

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

The Paper Shelter - 'die cuts and punches'
Charisma Cardz - 'glitter it'
Sarah Hurley - 'bling and sparkle'

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year ....

Here are two cards made with another lovely Little Claire Christmas stamp called 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' available here on their website.  For this first card I've used one of the Elegant Edge cards and highlighted the shaped edge by putting some Craft Creations Kraft paper on the inside of the card.  The patterned paper I've used is also from Krat Creations and I've coloured the Card Candi I used with a Promarker to match my stamped design.  The sentiment is part of the Red Gingham Christmas Text set.
For this second card I used a scalloped card base and some paper from Craft Creations.  I've used a piece of white sheer ribbon under the stamped sentiment which again is from the Red Gingham Christmas Text set.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

ABC Christmas Challenge - 'Q is for quote'

Time for Tea

This card was made with a stamp from Nutcrafters that I won in one of their challenge blogs last year - it's a really cute image and nice and easy to colour too!

I used a scalloped card from Craftwork Cards and some pale pink spotted paper from Craft Creations plus some brown paper for the frames and dots.  The little tag greeting is from Craftwork Cards - I added a black peel off dot to make it look more like a tag.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Totally Gorjuss - 'cute and cuddly'

Christmas Star

Here are three cards made with the Little Claire Designs stamp Christmas Star.  This first card was made using one of my X-Cut dies and some red spotted paper from Craft Creations.  I finished the card using some white swirly ribbon and some white Card Candy.
This second card was made using the dark blue snowflake paper from Craft Creations and some pale blue ribbon shaped into two loops and attached behind the image panel.  The greeting on this one is a peel off which again is from Little Claire Designs.
Finally, for this card I used one of the Red Gingham circular sentiment stamps and some Craft Creations kraft paper round my image.  My Card Candy was coloured with a Promarker to match the paper.  The paper was left over from last Christmas and the piece I have doesn't have the maker's name on it.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenge:

Christmas Card Challenges - 'Christmas cheer'
Bah Humbug - 'something new' (the stamp)
Totally Papercrafts - 'Christmas in August'

Butterfly Calendar

I made this calendar for a challenge swap on one of the Yahoo swap groups I belong to.  The swap hostess sent us two brown paper envelopes and also a piece of leather and we had to come up with something from those items which had to include some stamping!

I had just bought a packet of these little calendar pads from Anita's so I decided to make use of them!  I put a piece of card into each brown envelope and then sealed them and inked around the edges with a brown ink pad.  I folder the top envelope in half and then scored it before folding it backwards to make the top part of the calendar - the other section was stuck to the base envelope.

The stamped panel was made using white card - I used some brown ink on it and then stamped with one of my oldest stamps - Old French Writing from Hero Arts.  The butterflies were die cut from a Tim Holtz die (with thanks to my good friend Sylvia!) and then overstamped with the Hero Arts stamp - the 'bodies' were drawn in with a black permanent pen.  Finally, I added some small black peel off dots to finish it.

I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:

Stampalot Challenge - 'whatever you fancy'
Allsorts Challenge Blog - 'anything but a card'
Craft Your Passion - 'anything but a card'

This card was made using some of the stamps from the new Room With a View 'Nativity' set from Little Claire Designs - you can see the set and more inspiration from the DT members here.  I used the main image and 'inside' view to make the top part of my card.  The stopper on the base is also part of the set.  This is what the card looks like open:
I used some blue and white snowflake paper from Craft Creations and some silver sparkly paper round the main image and also the sentiment.

Good Morning Robin

I'm back with another card made with one of the new Red Gingham stamps available exclusively through Little Claire.  This one is called 'Good Morning Robin' and you can see all the details plus some more DT inspiration here.  I've used the stamp to make a mini-easel card - it's only 6cm wide but I decided this was a stamp that didn't need very much extra added to it because there's already so much detail on it.

For my background I've used some of the Kraft paper and also some cream, green and red Christmas paper from Craft Creations plus one of the Red Gingham circular sentiment stamps.  I finished the card with some red nail head gems.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Jingle Belles - 'shape up for the holidays'
Make My Monday - 'birds or bugs' (hope you don't mind a Christmas card!)

Rose Arbour - New from Little Claire Designs

I made this card using the new 'Rose Arbour' set of stamps launched today by Little Claire Designs - you can see all the details and a selection of beautiful cards from the DT here.  I'd like to take full credit for this gorgeous card but I'm not quite that clever!  The card blank is from the set of 'centre step' stepper cards also from Little Claire Designs which are here on their website.  This is the side view of the card:
As well as the stamped images, I used some pink card, white Card Candy and also the pink and white dotty paper which is available here.

This is another card I made using the verse and flourish from the stamp set:
The paper on this one is from Echo Park and I added some lace which I thought went perfectly with the design.  The scalloped card base is from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter the first of the cards in the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion - 'anything goes'
