Black and White Butterflies


Today I'm sharing a card that I've made with some stamps and dies that I bought last week from Clearly Besotted Stamps.  I used the 'Butterfly Wishes Additions Set' which is here on the website and the larger of the dies from the 'Butterfly Wishes Die Collection' which is here.  There's a gorgeous range of stamps and dies on the website and their service is super-efficient and very friendly.

Two of the butterflies were stamped with black ink and then embossed with clear powder on to white card and the other two stamped with Versamark on to black paper and then embossed with white powder.  I've added peel offs and some ribbon from my stash.

New Little Claire Challenge - Sketch With a Spring Theme


Today we've got another new challenge for you on the Little Claire blog.  This month we have a sketch and a theme for you - you can see the sketch below and our theme is 'spring'.

For my card I've used the 'Tulip Cat' stamp which you can find here on the website and also one of the stamps from the 'Sunshine Sentiments' set which you can find here.  My papers are a mixture of Craft Creations and a magazine freebie pad and I've also used some little jewelled flowers.  As well as my circle and scalloped circle dies, I've also used a photo corner die and a Dienamics scallop die.

Little Claire Blog Project - Tag Card Notebook


Today it's my turn to share a project over on the Little Claire blog and I've made this little tag card note book.

New Digi Stamps from Little Claire and a Competition



A range of great new digi stamps has just been added to the Little Claire website - have a look here to see the new designs.  

There's also a great special offer for everyone - a brand new digi (not available yet as a stamp) which is just 1p to download!  Click here to see the digi - it's a really beautiful image and will be suitable for so many different occasions.  

And to celebrate the launch of the new digi stamps, Little Claire is running a great competition.  All you need to do is download the 1p digi stamp, make a card using it and then e-mail the card to Little Claire before the end of April.  The lucky winner will receive a super Little Claire prize.

Black and White Birthday


This is a card I made recently for my Mum to give to one of her friends.  It's a very simple design using a Memory Box butterfly die, some peel offs, self adhesive pearls and stones.

New Penny's Challenge - White on White

For my card I've used the beautiful TULIP UMBRELLA from Stamp Art Design.  My background is embossed with my swiss dots folder and then I've added some lace, die cut corners and pearls.  The image is layered on to a die cut and then raised with foam pads.

Nutcrafters Challenge Reminder - Shaped Cards

GDT Card for Here Come the Boys - Sketch Challenge


Today I'm also sharing a card I made as a GDT member for the challenge blog Here Come the Boys.  This time the challenge is a sketch:

For my card I used the digi stamp 'Pirate Andy' from Pink Gem Designs which you can find here on the Pink Gem website.  I coloured the image with Promarkers - the background is one of the designs from the 'Background Paper' set which you can find here.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and the little sentiment sticker is from my stash.

New Pink Gem Challenge - Animals

Clean and Simple Dahlia


This is a sympathy card which I made for my Mum recently - she wanted something really simple with a floral image.  The stamp I've used is 'Pom Pom Dahlia' from Little Claire and you can find it here on their website.  I also used the Spellbinders 'Floral Oval' die set which you can find here - this was the first time I've tried cutting out the middle oval (with scissors using the perforations as a guide) and it worked out pretty well.

New Little Claire Club Stamp - The Smile I Bring




April's new club stamp set from Little Claire is now available on the website and this month it's the gorgeous 'The Smile I Bring' set.  You can find all the details here on the Little Claire website here and also have a look at the gallery to see the cards made by the Design Team.  Here's a look at what you get in the stamp set:

My card is the club card for this month - all club members receive a pack of materials plus instructions to make the card.  It's a pocket card using one panel of the tag cards sold by Little Claire for the inside tag.  The first photo above shows the complete card and the second the tag pulled out of the pocket.
